I thought that they just resign Holmes and I imagine Sarr is going to get playing time.

Holmes deal was actually pretty smart. Pay him basically the same next season (he wasn't opting out) with the additional year being 250k guaranteed. They basically just restructured his deal to make him a 2 year asset instead of 1.

Plenty of playing time to go around still, especially if they end up trading Kuzma.

If it does turn out the reports are wrong and he’s actually on the open market, we should absolutely be pursuing him.

I think Patrick Williams is exactly the type of player the Chicago Bulls should be targeting if they weren't the Chicago Bulls. Maybe they got more plans of his use with the money now but they've been so weird with him throughout his career.

I bet he'd have gotten more than that if they let him go to FA but they should have just non-tendered him or tried to work out a S&T. That's a really bad deal. He hasn't been good enough for that deal when he's been healthy.
