I'll try and watch Microsoft and Bethesda. I haven't been keeping a close eye on leaks or anything this year so I'm going in fresh.

I'm surprised. I've probably not paid close enough attention, but I thought it would launch before then. Maybe Sony will be first to market afterall.

Though launching with Halo is kind of a nice seller for many.

Yea, I was kinda surprised it wasn't gonna be out sooner. The machine itself sounds like a beast, though.

Some interesting news today.

-Keanu Reeves in Cyberpunk 2077.

-LEGO DLC for Forza Horizon. My 4 year old will flip.

-Microsoft bought Double Fine (not sure how I feel about that)

Any of you PC guys have comments on a build like this? Would this build give me 1440p with a good framerate on most games? Anything I'm doing wrong here? I would like a really nice machine but keep it under $2,000. Obviously this list here includes a 1440p 144 Hz monitor.

Yes that is similar with my pc setup. I got an RTX 2080 Ti, but RTX 2070 is really good too.

Just Be Sure the monitor is G Sync Compatible.
If not, buy one 2k 144hz Gsync Compatible in order to have your frames synchronized and have a smooth image quality

Hey Fotis, did you build your PC? Maybe once I pull the trigger and build mine, we can play some games. Not sure if you play multiplayer games or not.

Sure it will be fun to play some multiplayer games.

Yes, I built my pc.

I promised my son that I would make him a YouTube Fortnite Streamer, if he brings all "A"s at school.

He did and I built the best pc I could, it took me a year to buy the parts.

He promised to keep "A"s every year. That is our father-son "agreement".

I am an old school gamer too. I still play video games when my son sleeps

Nothing about the Doom reboot captured me at all. The gameplay is incredible but I got bored after a couple hours.

Bethesda was disappointing. I just don't care unless there's a SP Elder Scrolls or Fallout.

I'm not angry, but damn i'm disappointed. The Japanese game looked like an interesting story idea so hopefully that ends up being great.

I don't usually watch these conferences but Bethesda starting out with Fallout 76 followed by 3 mobile games while the paid actors in the crowd lost their minds was unintentional comedy.
