Wow Donte must have really pissed off the Kings where they don't even want to pretend they are matching his offer sheet.

Bringing back a humbled (and healthy) Donte is one thing.

But if he's still gunning for a big deal he thinks he earned before his injury last year then he might not be ready for that.

Suspect the Bucks trading him on the cheap (when we definitely could have used him more vs Ibaka in retrospect) was not unrelated.

I don't really get the Bamba fascination. The rim-protection is nice but just watch him on defense and he has zero instincts out there. On offense he's strictly a catch & shoot dude above the break (he sucks from the corners). Hasn't added any muscle and the functional strength to be a great pick & roll big and rim-runner just isn't there. I get the appeal if you're a team like Detroit or Washington, but not for us. Can't be spending our only valuable salary exceptions on fliers like him.

He's 10 years younger than Brook and actually shoots a decent percentage from 3? Great shot-blocker too.

I suppose the gamble would be his work-ethic issues (or perceived). I would imagine coming to a title contender with Gianni, Jrue, Khris, Pat, etc. would help.

He’s not allergic to rebounds as well.

Just for one year I think it would be cool to have both Lopez brothers, all four Antetokounmpo brothers, and all three Holiday brothers with Middleton, Bobby, Pat, and the rookies.
