Nebs, please address this. If a team is so enormously better with him off the floor why would you want to pay him 10MM+? Can you find me another player in the league that is so detrimental to his team?

article about Brandon Jennings on www.Hoopsworld.com. Talking about the Bucks trying to work out a contract with him. They also said the Bucks are expected to begin extension talks with Sanders

Something tells me the Bucks and Jennings already have a 4yr deal in place with a player option for year 4.

The deal is likely 4yrs 36m, with his option year being around 9.75m

Yeah, I am on the fence with this, but several tweets a few days ago hinted that we made progress, and Ted hinted that our other signings had to be done for our next "MOVES".

So keeping Jennings is likely the last move, first I am assuming we make a deal for a SF, while absorbing some cap space.

well maybe they will sign him and then trade him this 4/36 thing could be set up by another team maybe like boston.toronto or detroit

Sorry, nothing official with this, not even based on a rumor.

This is just me making an assumption after looking at how others have gotten paid of equal talent to Jennings.

If the Bucks do sign Jennings long term, that is my official breaking point. I'd be done with them and pretty much the NBA until he's gone and Herb croaks.

Signing Gooden to 5yrs.

Gadzuric to 5yrs.

Simmons to 4yrs I believe.

Yeah, there have been many worse offseason's.

Jennings and Mayo are likely what they are, unlike the thoughts of many on here, potential All-Stars if one of the top 2-3 guys gets hurt in their conference. Basically, each is grouped up with a bunch of others in the 8-12 range at their position.

Jennings not once said it himself. People just assumed it because they would be if they were him.

But 36m dollars can easily change the mind of someone if they were indeed set on not wanting to be here.

The 05 offseason was terrible but to be fair, many of us Bucks fans were unaware of the agony of the next 8 years to come. We still had visions of the 01 playoffs in our heads, and riding the high of the #1 overall pick. I think many of us gave the FO a free pass on just about every move they made, despite the fact that not a single one was the right move.

And he already turn down 10 a year. Why would he change his mind? And do not tell me he is coming to his senses. When has he done that?

I wish jennings would just sign a 3/18 kind of deal. he'll get paid and it would be an attractive contract so if he turned his play around they're would be plenty of suitors. Also a short enough deal where he cans still get that max contract if he could actually earn that kind of money

What should the Bucks do with Jennings?
