We are definitely better than last year. Craig is a guy who plays with fire which I will enjoy this year. Just need Giannis to sign or none of this matters.

Also we gave up 2 future 2nds to get Nwora when we can get a starter from a borderline playoff team and a valueable piece from a team that made a deep run in the post season both on the minimum. Really think later second round picks are overrated for contenders.

Yeah this is my problem too. The roster is technically better and Giannis may sign the supermax, but you can't convince me that this was the best, most efficient way to get there.

Find another team to root for then. The negativity of this board is annoying. :banghead:

This has nothing to do with negativity. This is objectivity.

I definitely buy that asset maximization was not on point this offseason, and it should be downgraded for that. That said, I do think the roster is better, younger, and more suited for the playoffs. A lot of this will come down to whether we win a title, and/or what the Holiday draft picks actually turn into. We do still have next years first to hopefully add another rotation guy.

I think the starting five is better on both ends than last year, and the bench is better offensively.

Honestly, if Giannis signs the super max, and Jrue signs an extension, do you really think the Bucks gives two s**** about picks? You guys need to see the full picture here.

We acquired the biggest name on the market, while our competitors in the East drove up the price. That's a win. Screw picks.

It just appears negative due to consistent incompetence. Would be nothing to talk about if the front office didn't make it so.

Still very much concerned with our SG position as i dont think DDV will be a good starter think hes to small for a shooting guard and his shot is still very questionable dude never even started in college

last year was a bunch of smoke, and mirrors with arthritic, slow & lethargic, old guys. i mean hill was ok, and sometimes wes, but none of them were "needle movers".

Im honestly baffled that you guys don't like our bench depth compared to last year, it was disgustingly bad last year, especially in playoffs.

that's the one area we can hopefully upgrade by playoff time, either by someone emerging, or trade.

You act like Horst is not a good GM. The same guy that won executive of the year. Like he's not in the know about the value of players.

Do I agree we probably overpaid for Jrue? Yes, I do. But if we didn't, someone else likely would of, and then this board would be up in arms about "oh the Bucks didn't go for it when they had the chance."

If getting Jrue meant Giannis resigning, nothing else matters. Nothing. Asset maximization be damned.

Is a S&T with Phoenix possible?

Baynes for Wilson and Pat?
