Looks promising, but little disappointed it's only 12 classes. I definitely expect more from TRPGs - it's always kind of been the bread-and-butter of the genre.

Do you guys know of a chill simcity like game? I googled and SimCity has the results locked down. I have a mac and the consoles. Just looking for a town/city/world builder that doesn't require charts and serious micromanagement.

Diablo III question: What's the purpose of the Book of Cain in Tristram? I go up to it and it tells me I don't have any unidentified items. Whenever I pickup unidentified loot, all I have to do is press square to identify it. Why would I hold onto an unidentified item and use the Book of Cain to identify it?

City Skylines. I played it quite a bit on Xbox and it’s fairly easy to get into.

It lets you identify your entire inventory in one go. When you get into rifts and such, you won't stop to identify single items. So the book - replacing Cain - lets you ID everything at once.

LOL that's kinda the opposite of what I was thinking.

Something like this is what inspired the post

But I did watch a 30 minute beginner vid to City Skylines before bed last night and I'm gonna watch a couple more. I already own the game and am installing it now, so I'll probably give it a shot.

The rollout of this year's 2K is so insane. I'd love to be a fly on the wall to see what they're all thinking in the studio.

I'll still probably pick it up pretty quickly though just because I always end up pouring hundreds of hours into it every year with my friends.

I don't know what you did with that tweet, but I can't get anything below your post to load

Anyway, agreed Skylines is not super chill. It's more complex than Sim City, generally. That said, it is a great game. T4rget on YouTube is a great watch - when I was playing, I'd have his city build guide up on another screen. He has a series of like 20 videos where he just streams beginning to end in creating a city. It's good stuff.

Ah yes, it's working now :) Dorfromantik looks cool - reminds me of Carcassone, actually. One of my favorite board games (which I play predominantly on my phone).

This game also has a demo on Steam! It’s also in early access for $9 if you just want to literally play that.

I felt so old this week listening to some of my podcasts. First the crew on Katie Nolan's SPORTS! pod didn't know the songs Sex and Candy or Flagpole Sitta, then the shipping container on the Le Batard show didn't know of a videogame before the n64 other than NHL 94 or Mario Bros.

Nice surprise on Game Pass. The remastered Myst appeared.
I was about 16-17 when the first one came out and I loved it.

So first time playing Diablo III and I currently have a lvl 31 Witch Doctor. Her skills/abilities are fun but now I'm getting curious what other characters have for skills/abilities, tempting me to try and start a new character. This always happens to me.
