I'm not pinning the loss solely on Giannis of course but making free throws, even going just 13-23, was an easy path to a win.
Go back and watch the variety of ways Giannis scored in that game compared to what he did this year and specifically against Miami too. I was always on Bud for not being my ideal playoff level coach but it must have been hard to try and build an offense around a guy who can't hit shots consistently outside of 3 feet.
I’ve been beating this drum for a while now.
Bud in ATL coached a high octane, ball movement offense with a bunch of passes.
One of our big issues is that our best player prefers to operate from places on the floor where he’s easier to guard.
