Re: Around The League
I fell bad for Zion, this could have been the game that changed his career trajectory

Re: Around The League
Zion was finally starting to put it all together. Probably his best game yet, too. His body just can't handle his playstyle.

Am I the only one who never wants to hear Kevin Harlan do another sporting event, ever?

If you miss the first then you can have a discussion. You’d have to be an idiot to miss the 2nd on purpose if it puts you up 4.

Harlan is great with a good color guy. Problem is, he has to tolerate and call the game over these TNT idiots

Re: Around The League
No way was the league going to let the Pelicans spoil Joker vs LeBron in round 1 and also potentially not have the Lakers in the playoffs.
Unless you're a die hard basketball junkie (Like us) I have no clue how anyone can watch NBA basketball. Complete rubbish of a product.
Also, I always bring this up during the playoffs, but it's always hilarious how the NBA brings out their ''best'' officials for the biggest games.
Like Scott Foster and Tony Brothers.

Re: Around The League
DDV is ineligible for most improved player despite being 48th in the league in total minutes played. For failure to meet the games played threshold
He needed 9 more seconds in one game (he played 19:51) to qualify.

He's the GOAT at announcing fans interrupting the game though. He can do that all day long.

Re: Around The League
Warriors cap situation isn't as absurd as I initially thought, but they are still at $144 excluding Paul and Klay. They kind of committed to rolling it back after the Kerr and DG extensions, but I feel they didn't have the balls to do the smart thing for them and for the league. Trade Curry and DG to some contenders, let Kerr go to San Antonio, and start over saving hundreds of millions of dollars. Like are we going to waste another year of Curry on this team? Curry, Klay, Wiggins, Pod, Kuminga, and Looney all played in mid-70s of games; DG only played 55 but due to annual suspension of 23 worth of games. Even with that health, they needed a heater at the end of the season to get the 10th seed and can't imagine any team ahead of them other than maybe LA to regress enough for the Warriors to pass them.

Really annoying as he would be a picture perfect fit next to Dame. Undrafted gem.
