Yeah but PG>>>>Wiggins. Especially if you're talking about the present and winning now.

(Baddy beat me)

If Lebron joins the team with Wiggins and Kyrie on their rookie deals, he is probably able to convince another superstar or two to join the Cavs and we have no clue who the Warriors are right now. Hell they could have waited until Love was a FA and signed him anyways and still had Wiggins to run and gun with Lebron.

It's strange how much publicity ESPN is giving the BIG3 considering Fox Sports has the broadcast rights.

Looks like something you'd find at Steve and Barry's.

If by "older and more banged up" he meant "better at everything on basketball court" then yeah I agree.

In any case I thought people had moved past calling that the Wiggins/Love trade a bad deal for the Cavs. Love in game 7 2 years ago coupled with him locking down Steph in crunch time alone makes that deal a slam dunk.

Exactly. And I'm really surprised people continue to talk about that trade like the Cavs lost it. Love struggles as a 3rd option from time to time and we think Wiggins would somehow do better in that role. I don't see any reason to think that when Lebron wants floor spacers over volume scorers who aren't efficient

Unrelated thought, if I was the Wolves I'd probably trade Wiggins as well. I think they will have a bunch of impressive wins in the regular season but in the POs someone will ultimately figure them out... probably Pop. Not enough shooting and too many one way players, even with Jimmy Buckets in the mix.

I'd bank more on Wiggins eventually "getting it" on the defensive end under Thibs than I would on any lackluster return that you'd get for him via trade, because he'd essentially be the perfect 3rd guy in a 3&D wing role alongside Butler as compliments to KAT. Wolves are in a good cap situation right now and can afford to re-sign all their key guys, especially now that they don't have to worry about giving LaVine an extension.

Maybe Thibs is a good GM?

He must have relished playing hardball and winning out vs Chicago at least.

I think Wiggin's game right now would be significantly differently under LBJ's tutelage and what he'd be asked to do as his sidekick. So not totally fair to just call Wiggins a PPG chucker in this scenario. Love was great in that game 7, but overall he's been really bad as a matchup vs GSW. The logic would be that Wiggins athleticism would be more useable vs GSW than what Love brings. Not to say Love sucks or has been bad in CLE, it's all about that one matchup. I know for sure Cle still would've made the finals every year, who knows if they'd have won one though. And as others have said, it would've created a lot more financial flex for Cle to have Wiggins rookie deal instead, who knows what else they could've added.

The only way I trade Telly/Delly for Rubio is to attach 2019 Miami's 2nd Round pick. In fact I give em Telly for that pick. Keep Rubio.

Delly for Rubio + 2019 Miami's 2nd
or
Teletovic for 2019 Miami's 2nd

Teletovic could have a bounce back year ...
Rubio will never shoot well.

Rubio shot 35% from three after the All-Star break last season.
