Very impressive, though I hope there's more depth to combat than appeared. Looks hack and slash ish.

I picked up Path of Exile for the first time this season since I've seen you guys talking about it. So far I'm really enjoying it and I've found following a build guide pretty interesting since you can start to see how your skill tree is developing towards what you're trying to do.

Now I'm glad they aren't remaking FFVI since they'd probably **** everything up. Every Final Fantasy I've played that's not turn based has been mediocre to bad.

I'm getting tired of so many remastered games. I can understand the occasional ones, but it seems like a lazy way for companies to make a quick buck without reinventing anything and our nostalgia makes us perfectly happy with it.

FFVIII is my favorite of the series, so I'll gladly play the remastered. Looking forward to VII, but how long is this damn game going to be?

FF8 has been treated like the red headed step child of the series. I love it. Will happily play it on Switch.

Watched that alpha demo of the new Star Wars game. Looks sweet with the like force freezing laser blasts and throwing troopers on them. Pretty sadistic actually haha.

It can definitely be a little intimidating at first with the skill tree and what not, but glad to hear you're enjoying it!

I know I said yesterday I was happy (I am) and will play (I will) FF8 Remaster on Switch, but honestly, is the Switch just 100% ports and remakes?

I know there are new games - I'm excited for 2 in the next 45 days - but man, these are not the E3 announcements you're hoping for...

Seemed as good as any other conference, really. I never get that excited for E3. Was that Mana game new? I loved Secret of Mana. Obviously excited for the sequel to BotW but I imagine that's years away.

Mana is a remake. Never made it to US though.

A bunch of remakes and 1 or 2 new releases you can get away with if you're a studio. It's bad for one of the big 3 IMO.

MS certainly had the best conference IMO. And I don't even much care - I don't plan on getting the next Xbox. They just brought the most.
