Want to watch Brogdon on TV every day?

No, not Malcolm - his dad. Dude is a judge on a new daytime TV court show. Yup. Personal Injury Court. Yup.

Also...

Spoiler:
The defendant and plaintiff are actors. The show was brought to my attention because an actor friend of mine is the plaintiff in today's episode. His daughter is the person (well, actor) who suffered a personal injury.

Big thanks for the heads up, watched it last night.

Found out afterwards that it's a 13-ep final season.

Fred Armisen's character is rapidly becoming the new Randy Marsh for me.

Also, for people that think you can't work dirty or toe the line of offensiveness in comedy anymore.....watch this show.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

I've never seen that show and I found that pretty funny. I'm gonna watch now.

Kroll and Mulaney are my favorite force in comedy right now.

I can, and have, watch them do 90 minutes of Oh Hello at the 92nd st Y.

Also, I'm on Criminal - France and have to say the first episode took, what I originally felt was one too many turns but after reflecting on it I like how it started and ended. So far that whole series (UK, Germany, haven't watched Spain) has been entertaining and thought provoking. I recommend all of them.

I enjoyed the UK Criminal and started on the Spanish one- like 15 mins in, and off to great start.

I need more time to process "Joker." I liked it but my initial reaction is that the performance is better than the movie itself. I appreciate that it's more ambitious than most other comic book movies, but at times it feels kind of aimless.

This is only Mulaney-related, but my daughter's Bat Mitzvah is in a couple weeks and I dared her to have the DJ play "What's New Pussycat" seven times in a row to start the party.

Spoiler:
followed by "It's Not Unusual" and then four more "What's New Pussycats".

Coming from the writer/director of Old School and Starsky and Hutch, this does not surprise me.

I got excited for a second but then remembered that season dropped for us months ago.

Likewise! :)

Although, on the plus side it sent me down a short Internet rabbit warren that resulted in me finding the podcast below that looks like it's Dan Levy talking about each season (one season per episode, about 30 minutes each episode).

Awesome. There will be a 6th and final season of 14 and that's it. I really wanted to go down to the Riverside a few weeks ago, they had the entire cast there to screen some scenes and do a Q&A. Somehow I missed it when it was announced and by the time I knew about it there were no tix left.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Same podcast feed has the same thing for FNL too. Might have to subscribe.
