JJ's comments about the F.O. made me think about the AD situation again and (while I realize that AD coasting allowed N.O. to get higher odds), that New Orleans as a franchise nearly had a big 3 of Jrue, AD, and Zion + all its picks to go out and get another couple pieces.

Just highlights how difficult it is for small market teams, they need to run the table with personnel moves to compete for a championship. Meanwhile LA, Brooklyn, etc... just go all in on cap space and hope the next KD, Lebron wants to go there

Haven't liked Redick since he was traded for Tobias.

For about a couple weeks I though I was being hard on him for not wanting to play in a horrific situation with the Bucks. Nah guy is just a whiny bitch. Like he's made because when the team paying his contract tried sweet talking to get him to show up for the millions they are paying him? He seems as entitled to his contract as Larry sanders

Redick thinks he’s had a good enough career where he should dictate terms even while his effectiveness (and trade value) wanes.

He was wrong when he phoned it in in Milwaukee.

But pulling that ish with Cuban’s Mavs is a different story.

Celtics are wearing a pretty good Bucks jersey.

Flashback for Christian family man JJ Redick, around the time he was pouting in Milwaukee he was also coercing his girlfriend into signing an "abortion contract" which paid her $25k a year while dating him that mandated she abort any child they had. Pretty rich for JJ out of all players to throw down the "think of the children" card.

Truly hate to defend Redick, it just seems to me that the point of the story was less about him getting what he wanted and more about NO telling him they'd give it to him and then not following through. It's true that he thinks he earned it and that part of it is whatever: he earned his contract. But the part where they said one thing and did another is not great. And whether he said it publicly is kind of immaterial. Players and agents would have known.

Problem is that even in his version of the story he is the a-hole. It's like the kid throwing a hissy fit for not getting a toy and the dad saying fine put it in the cart only to tell the cashier to put it back. JJ shouldve reported like a professional.

Why do you think he didn't report? Or are you saying he did report, but unprofessionally?

I’m sort of done buying JJ’s side of any story.

As Costanza said, it’s not a lie if you believe it. Am 100% sure JJ believes he’s been wronged.

The quote I saw made it sound like Jj told griffin he wasn't coming and that Griffin said come back for a little bit to try it out and then he would move him if it doesn't work out. Like why would Griffin even have to have a conversation like that? Unless Griffin called him out of the blue to tell him that which would be ... Weird.

Blake Griffin is certifiably NOT completely washed, especially when playing the worst team in the league.

C*m guzzling/cicksucking talk? Also if we want to be technical KD definitely threatened to assault him talking about spitting in his face and was heated enough to explicitly mention doing all of this in person multiple times.

IMO that's all substantially worse than someone saying a slur while gaming online (not that that is ok either)
Yeah I missed a couple of those screen shots when I commented on it. KD definitely crossed some lines and should be getting a fine for this. Bad look.

Fine, much worse than Myers....2 weeks and 100k..
We need DDV to grow some locks and quote some of the Rappaport lines to KD in the playoffs, get under his skin...

How did that OKC lineup beat Toronto with Siakam, VanVleet, Anunoby, Trent playing? This is one of the worst starting 5s I've ever seen...

Lakers’ upcoming schedule is pretty brutal
@Sac
@Clips
@Raps
@Heat
@Nets
@Knicks
@Hornets
Boston
Jazz (best case scenario for Lebron’s return)
Jazz
@Dallas
@Dallas

Do they win more than two games in this stretch? They might drop as far as the seventh seed.
