We got Wilson Chandler whos one of the best up and coming young players in the league, with a PG whos going to create for him, and a bigman who demands double teams, watchout for this boy. We got Gallo who I think I have said enough about him for people to know how I feel, oh yeah you best believe Im going to tell you to keep an eye out and really watchout for this kid. Amare is Amare, Atlanta has nobody at his level right now, and while the Hawks got Jamal, we got a bench so deep that Crawford might not even crack the rotation on our squad if he was here.

Wow. Knicks fans are like this every single season. You just have to put up with it until about the second week of November and they quiet down some.

On the Pacers board, they are looking for a PF. One of the posters thought that they could get Moute or Ersan for a combination of Posey or Dahntay Jones. I pointed out that it was unlikely, but he sort of disregarded my comments. Other than Granger, there is not much on the Pacers that the bucks would trade Ersan or Moute for.
Trade S. Jackson soon. NJ seems like a nice place for him.

Amare is barely an upgrade if any over David Lee. Knicks fans are going to be pretty disappointed.

From the "Can Amir Johnson Be a 20/10 Player?" ( ) thread.

The troubling thing is that his rebounding numbers drop off considerably in games that he gets significant burn. But, this sample size is rather small (at 4 or 5 games) so I don't know if you can extrapolate that stat.

Too lazy to look up the game logs, but as the season was winding down, Turkoglu started rebounding like a madman. I'm not sure why Hedo decided to give a crap at that point, but in the process (it could be argued) he was stealing rebounds from Amir. This may have convinced his agent/the Suns that Hedo was an acceptable replacement at the 4 for Amar'e.

First it was Bosh stealing rebounds from Bargani, now it's Hedo stealing rebounds from Amir. Bunch of thieves those Raptors are.

The Raptors promote a culture of rebounding thieves. It's just not right.

I'm starting to think SMAC-K named himself after the first thing on his shopping list.

Yep Amare may be a better scorer, but Lee creates many more possessions with his rebounding. And they are both sieves on defense.

Lee had better rebounding numbers, but he didn't have Bosh or Turkeyglue to steal rebounds from him...

By the way my guess is that Lebron's rebound numbers will drop to like 2 a game because of bosh..

The Knicks were only barely a better rebounding team with Lee on the floor. Is he really creating possessions? Or is he just grabbing the easy boards that a teammate would have gotten if he hadn't?

Both Lee and Amar'e are overrated imo.

Because they have players who are better at basketball than the players on the Knicks.

At least one of them is sane.

dont see how thats the same thing. one is clearly a better player and while both have issues one player went to a winning atmosphere with talented players around him and the other went to a team that sucks

Wiz board is discussing rankings in east and one of their crazy guys think we are worse than them. For the most part they are pretty realistic though viewtopic.php?f=35&t=1032423
example:
harkening back to "teams that scare me", with the addition of a legit pg, Indy scares the bejeezus out of me. milwaukee doesn't. maybe it's the fact that drew gooden is their PF. maybe it's the fact that jennings shot better outside the arc than from inside, or that i believe john wall is going to SMOTHER smaller guards. i dunno. I just don't think the bucks are any better than us.

In fairness to Wizards fans it seems pretty much everyone disagreed with that guy.
