I'd say 4/38-40

Hey we just shot ourselves in the foot but at least it wasn't the head.

This team still doesn't have a direction. Still is going to be .500. And we just picked up a bad player that is going to push us more towards that hell.

But at least we didn't give him that extra year or that extra million per year.

I guess as Bucks fans we have to take victories where we can. I am tired of this team. Can they just move to Seattle already?

Yea, the franchise is incredibly frustrating, but if you want to see the Bucks move to Seattle, why would you even bother still following the team, reading this forum, and posting on it.

I said it in jest. I don't want the Bucks to move to Seattle. But it is moves like these that push them closer to that direction every day.

This is a move that probably adds some wins next year. But the goal of this franchise should not be to maximize wins over a one year period (especially when we are moving from 35 wins to 40 wins) but rather maximize wins over the next 10 years. This move probably decreases the win total over the next 10 years.

IMO you need to do 4/40 if you want Teague, and he still might get matched. They sure wouldn't have signed Korver to a 4/24 if they were tanking.

The Hawks are in serious negotiations with Millsap too. No way they're tanking.

or in talks with milsap or getting asik from HOU. I don't think Teague is going to move IMO

Felt the need to login and post for the first time in a long time.

I'm shocked by the deal beacuse I'm not at all unhappy with it. I like the fact that we could have a starting 5 all under 30 by the end of free agency. Yes its not a bunch of rookies competing for the first pick in the lottery (my preference right now) but its not a bunch of 30+ over paid role players either.

I guess I'd trust Larry Drew and what he thinks on Teague.

Then prepare the 4/$44 offer sheet for him tomorrow in advance of July 10th. Or talk with Hawks on sign and trade involving Ersan with Teague at much lower amount like 4/$35. Then blow the wad on Milsap for 4/$50.

I'm not a huge mayo fan but I'm ok with this move. Shocked they didn't severely overpay.

4 yrs 40 mil seems like an awful lot for Teague

With Milsap in Atlanta, then Josh Smith lands either S&T with the Rockets, with Dallas, with Detroit or........

Things that scary me about Mayo:

1. This is his third team in 3 years and neither of his previous teams made any attempt to retain him.
2. No contending teams had any interest in him.

That said, I like that he's young, skilled and can score it without being a ball hog. There's a glimmer of hope that he matures and/or a different coach gets through to him. I wouldn't bet on it, however.

Apparently only 2 years for Millsap, interesting.

I'd be ok with signing Teague at 11 per. Just for the simple fact that Jennings would be gone. I hate that guy! Grab Devin Harris for the backup spot and bring in Corey Brewer. Maybe go after AK47?

Teague/Harris/Wolters
Mayo/Brewer
Kirilenko/Moute/Antetokounpo
Ilyasova/Henson/Gooden
Sanders/Udoh/Ayon

The Clippers did. They were deciding between Mayo and Redick.

Clippers had interest apparently, not sure how intense that interest was though.

I haven't seen any.

And this smells like a deal in that that no one else was offering mayo anything so he took it.
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.
