I think Jefferson has a good chance at sticking. He's probably not starter material but I doubt he hurts any team as a reserve.

Nope, he won't give you that.
Actually he won't give you anything, maybe a headache, turnovers and faults.
I think you don't get how raw he is, he is not even ready to play meaningful minutes in NCAA, let alone the dleague or the NBA.

Like I said, Derrick Rose averaged 14.9 PPG and 4.7 APG with a .560 TS% his freshman year. That COUNTS the tournament.
Wiggins is averaging 15.8 PPG and and 5.4 RPG with a .561 TS% right now.
Just because he's not dominating (on a very skilled Kansas team) doesn't mean ****.
Derrick Rose was also a point guard on a highly experience team playing with established players like CDR and Joey Dorsey while quarterbacking that team to a one loss regular season, and a national championship appearance which he completely dominated en route. Wiggins has yet to dominate and until he does, those question marks will remain.

(1) Chris Walker
(2) Bogdan Bogdanovic
(3) Boris Dallo
(4) Rondae Hollis-Jefferson
(5) Nick Stauskas
(6) Kyle Anderson
(7) Kaleb Tarczekwsi
(8) Khem Birch
Walker, Dallo and Hollis-Jefferson are likely NOT declaring.
Hollis-Jefferson will be a lock for the top20 if he does.
Stauskas probably will stay also.
Anderson will go top20.
Tarczewski is awful, poor man's Biedrins, and I'm not kidding.
Birch is realistic and interesting, just not for Milwaukee with the personel you already have.
It will depend on the 1st pick, but in the best case, if I get Parker with my 1st, I will love to grab Napier with my 2nd, If I draft Exum with my 1st, I will get Hairston.
Anyway, if the Bucks end up with the 31st pick and PJ Hairston is available, is a no-brainer, the Bucks need high ceiling player, Hairston will the guy with the hhighest ceiling that could be available there, not even close, it's a no-brainer.
None of this declared interest is based on players declaring.
Hollis-Jefferson hasn't even found his way into most mock's first rounds. To say he'd be a top 20 is extremely presumptuous - though, I think he should be a first round player. I know it's likely he doesn't declare but that's not what my interest is about at this stage. I think he's a fabulous player. A complete glue guy who can guard 4 positions and give you 'garbage' points. Extremely high BB IQ. I love the kid. It's no secret. I've been touting him since Day 1.
I don't agree with your opinion of Tarczewski. Obviously, he's not a world-beater...but for a mid to late 2nd round prospect, he has coordination; touch; and he's very athletic for a Center. Unlike Biedrins, he doesn't shy from contact; he's a righty; and he has far more of an ability to stretch the floor with a jumper. Granted, we can also simply agree to disagree.

Yeah walker is just clueless about everything basketball. He's not even close to being able to positively contribute defensively, he's just so lost. Likely the worst defender in the nba if he gets drafted.

While the numbers are quite impressive, it doesn't necessarily solve the tweener issue he'll face at the next level. In order for him to succeed, I still think he needs to embrace the power forward position. Until he does that, I can't advocate him as a top 5 pick.
Video also alludes to Wiggins's defense being highly overrated on this board. He has the tools, but to have guys like Randle and particularly Parker who looks like he's had a ton of issues on that end, outplay him by that metric raises a few questions.

Simmer down, Fisch. This is all projection-based. It's January. We'll all see how this plays out over the next several months. To flatly declare anything about a prospect at this stage - particularly one with so little tape at present - is a bit pre-emptive, imho.

Watching Embiid, and you can't help but think he's going to be special.

Badly want Embiid on this team. Get Schroder and you have a 1/3/5 all under 20, long, passionate, and foreign
Middleton to space the floor at the 2. Find a stretch 4 and you have something potentially really special.

No it's not.
You just have to be able to calculate 1+1.
The signs are there with Walker, if you want to do it projection-based the clear conclussion for him is China in 4 years.
Hollis-Jefferson is not in any 2014 mock because he is not declaring, he is a top15 pick in 2015 for almost everybody, and if he will declare for 2014 he will be a lock for the top20.
Tarczewski best and unique atribute is being tall, he will bust Cole Aldrich-esque way if he is picked high enough.
I don't think he will declare either, actually the whole Arizona team should stay.

Embiid stays in school and Parker goes on a mission and this draft will suck.

Embiid just got blown by pretty badly on the perimeter. Also had trouble establishing post position on a much smaller guy the previous offensive possession. He definitely shows some flashes of potentially being really good.

Big dudes trying to develop perimeter skills is a good thing. Gordon trying to be a three is a good thing. It helps his draft stock if he can develop a better handle and outside shot. He's already got eye popping explosiveness, great vision for a forward and elite defensive ability. In an ideal world you've got a guy who'll be able to pull down a ton of boards at either forward position, defend three spots, and knock down jumpers. That's a very, very good player to have.
Remember, this is the kid that gave Parker fits when they matched up.

Yeah. I don't understand why you have your center at the three point line guarding a SF. Bill Self, I guess.

I'm pretty high on Gordon too. There's a pretty good chance he ends up my #4 overall prospect. With the versatility Giannis provides, pairing Giannis and Gordon in the front court is pretty appealing. If he can develop a consistent outside shot he becomes a bluechip prospect.

I am torn between Wiggins and Embiid.
It should be between Parker and Exum for the Bucks with the 1st pick
I hope not Parker if he goes on a 2 year mission. I do like both players though. Embiid may not be a fit for need per say, but he may be the best player.
