one thing that bugs me about this, is i can totally see kidd as a "feel" type of guy like so many former players are. like "shabazz napier should go in the lottery cause he valiantly brought his team to the championship". i really wanted this front office filled with basketball stat nerds. ones who use scouting AND hard statistics to make decisions.
He's likely referring to the possibility Kidd intentionally sabotaged his relationship with the Nets because he had a deal lined up with the Bucks

Bingo. It's apparent Lasry and Kidd plotted this whole plan behind the scenes. He's essentially negotiating with a person under contract without Nets permission. Bucks were granted permission to discuss only after Kidd was rebuffed after making his ludicrous demands to try and force their hands.
