BEASLEY WAS BEST BUCK IN THE GAME GUYS. Freaking hilarious.
Magic and the other side please STOP with your USELESS debates in every GT / PG!
its not about debating anymore, some in here are pretty much promoting this BS over and over. Beasley played 3-4 games well this season and suddenly we need to accept his mediocre ass and pay him out. I want this team to win and not sit around getting blow out by every NBA team.
And letting your second best player walk is the start down that winning path ?

That's quite impressive.
I still wonder why Snell had his leg wrapped. He didn't seems to me moving around like normal either.

How is he remotely close to being our second best player? He is a a bad defender, doesn't pass the ball and got low IQ. All he does is making shots and even those aren't helping when he is on the court.
If Beasley is our second best player then we are doomed.

In fairness to Delly, according to that graph he's the worst player on our entire team by a pretty wide margin. So from that perspective he deserves the attention
my point is that almost everyone besides Jabari and maybe Monroe should get called out, Thon is a rookie so i wouldn't put him. Im not defending Delly im just saying enough with all these crap players on our team. The suck, not if or buts or anything. Im sure the coaching contributes a big part of it but so far they are 3rd rate caliber players, simple as that.
Oh I'm with you there. We don't have enough starting caliber players on this team. We have some guys like Telly who could probably be the 5th starter if the other guys around them were all good starters, but you can't start 4 of those guys and compete unless the 5th guy you're starting is prime Lebron, and there have been max 3-4 players of that caliber in the entire history of the league.
And we're paying starter money to these also ran type guys.
Part of the problem also is that the ones we do have aren't starting. Brogdon and Monroe are much better players than Delly and Henson, and yet at best they get an even amount of minutes, because we've decided Monroe isn't a starter and Brogdon works better with Monroe than Delly does.
Middleton has been hurt and isn't 100% conditioning wise yet, so pass there.
We're just a poorly managed and coached team, that's all there is to it. If that doesn't change I expect Giannis will do exactly what most guys do in his situation, leave after his first big contract to go somewhere he can win, or get one of those huge extensions he'll be eligible for from us and then later demand a trade.

Last time I checked, you cant win if you dont score. Sign Snell instead. Those 6 points per 34 minutes will equal wins.

Team was +6 in Thon's 13 minutes. The pick and roll team D flat out doesn't work without an all time type athlete at C. Should have got Noel if we are sticking with this, the plodders can't handle it.

Sparky is a Bucks fan, but he's a really dumb Bucks fan. He gets excited over "name" players and lacks the understanding of how to win in today's NBA.

I can't see how hayward will stay. They were very unlucky w the injuries in the previous seasons.
As for the bucks.
If maker is decent as stretch 4, i say we must give it a shot.
He has the shot, he shows the willingness to defend. He is athletic, he can block shots and play the PnP, PnR.
Work with him and his body for an offseason and you have your pf until jabari is back....optimistic? Maybe but i think he has the talent to do it.
The center was just there. For peanuts. Noel.
You want another name? Nurkic. These guys were there to be taken.
There will always be opportunities like these. but the FO must have a plan for them.
pg? That's the draft for. Along with brogdon you cover your needs.
As for backups? Dellavedova is tradeable and has value no matter how bad ge is so far.
He earned the right to be considered a useful player after these finals against cavs when kyrie was missing. His contract won't be a problem. Teletovic too.
If you trade these two guys(and wishfully henson) you get your backups as well.
It's not difficult. Have a plan.
Man 3 years ago we needed a PG and a C,now with what happened to Jabari we maybe need and a PF and we our out of money,we all here say what Bucks can do ,who they must trade,so what?anything changed?,i prefered the players last year or the players the year before more than this year players, even if they were not better at least we were paying for them nothing compare to this year team.

My friend, someone already posted the TPA above and he is our second worst player or close to that.
Our problem is defense mainly then scoring.Beasley doesn't provide anything more than scoring and even that is inconsistent. having couple of high scoring nights doesnt make you the second best player.

ampd wrote:After 9 years of Hammond, we have a superstar, and this is still the product on the court. When is it fair to say he can't build a competitive basketball team here?
Yes, between him and Dumars they built one in Detroit. Over a decade ago. In Milwaukee it's been mistake after mistake, followed by trades to fix the mistakes, and more trades to fix the mistakes made with the trades made to fix the mistakes. Coaches have come and gone, owners have come and gone, players have come and gone, the one constant over the last 9 years of failure punctuated by occasional mediocrity has been Hammond and the other front office holdovers.
I really hope the owners realize their mistake in meddling and leaving so much of the Kohl regime in place on the basketball side of things, and dump the FO/coaches and start over. It would take real courage, but we finally have a superstar in Milwaukee and it would be criminal if we end up wasting his time in Milwaukee so guys like Hammond and Kidd can have another 4 years.
You might be on to something.
If we get Dumars with Hammond we will finally have our chance?! Seem easy enough to do. - The B.owners

If we are going to use the C to hedge like we do I'm not sure it even matters. In this system there's always going to be a window on every pick and roll where one of our players is defending 2 of their players, and the smart well coached teams are always going to be able to take advantage of that.
Tonight we started out trying to defend the corner 3 by just leaving our weak side defender home at the corner and predictably all it did was leave the roll man wide open for dunks and layups. In the 2nd half we went back to the normal defense and it was right back to unlimited wide open 3s for everyone.

Jabari, Monroe, Brogdon ? All these have been better than Beasley this season. Then you can argue Snell,Thon Beasley and the rest.

Re: PG Thread (Utah) - Post all-star tank gets rolling?
if the bucks roster is not bad as Alex Lasry said, and the team has been terrible for the last two months, then the problem has to be the head coach then right, go tell your dad, if your are not going to fire Jason Kidd, at least get him to try a completely new scheme on defense. If players won't give more effort on defense, it is because they realize something you don't and that is the defense scheme won't work anymore

Our 2nd best player this season has pretty easily been Monroe or Jabari. Beasley maybe sneaks into 6th behind Brogdon and Snell.

You are giving 20mil on delly and telly and that's the only difference.
And that 6mil on hawes. 26mil total, easily tradeable imo because these guys have value to some teams.
Snell, beasley, brogdon, maker, jabari, terry, vaughn don't cost that much.
The only problem is henson's 11mil(which is not a huge contract but still it's painful for such performances) and monroe's 17mil(good player though if you consider what contracts guys like noah, mozgov, ezeli, plumlee, leonard got)
It's not that bad. It would be bad if you retained plumlee.
