I assume this is an unprotected pick? Any word on that?

Exactly my thoughts... While it's not in the model of sustained success to be trading away 1st round picks, Kidd will be making the selection, so it's completely worthless to us.

Doesn't change the fact that our bench is a dumpster fire.

I feel you but it does actually change that fact because either Bledsoe or one of our starters will be coming off the bench.

I'm sure they're talking to everyone about Delly right now. Delly for Shump makes so much sense. And yea Lopez to MKE somehow would be great also.

For the Jabari re-sign, they just have to pay the tax. It is what it is, that's why you want billionaire owners like this. But yea i'm sure they're looking anywhere to move Delly and Mirza to help out on it. Henson too if you're getting some kind of big back for depth.

Bledsoe and Devin Harris were the most destined to be Bucks, I'll still be shocked if Harris doesn't end up here.

Well, we didn't dump any contracts we wanted to get rid of. But we also didn't give up Brogdon or Thon. So, it isn't all great, but it isn't terrible, either.

Hope they realize that after not having Moose the last few games. Henson and Thon have been physically abused by opposing centers. Need some muscle down there.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

Great trade. I don't think we're done. For now maybe but I think we'll make another move or two.

Yup. And as long as Giannis is here, I don't see how this team gets into the top 10 of the draft. We stink at drafting outside the lottery anyways.

this team is one giannis mishap away from being in the top of the lottery

it better be heavily protected

And normally I'm there with you, but it's so early into the season. Some of the teams that are hot right now like Detroit and Orlando, I don't see sustaining. I think the Bucks can regroup with this move. It's a risk, but maybe we need to take a risk to shake up some of the same ole same ole we've been doing. idk.

I'm torn, because Bledsoe is a big upgrade to the pg position and moves Brogdon to his proper position, but I really think Monroe had become under-valued here because of his start this season playing w/ an injury. We're going to hurt at center this season without him. Need to have a follow-up move for this to pick up a center who is much better than Thon and John.

Also, the 1st rd pick should have like top 10-15 protection considering how disappointing the Bucks have been so far and the lack of leverage the Suns had w/ Bledsoe.

I certainly hope the Bucks stop selling that they are owning the future because any time it's tenuous they make the playoffs they get desperate. Last year it meant rushing Middleton back ahead of schedule.

The idea is if Giannis gets hurt this team will tumble into the lottery.

I don't hate the trade, but I believe we could have gotten more with Monroe involved. Maybe not from PHX but from somewhere.

Let's see what kind of protections are on the pick.
