Just looked into that. Why Milwaukee? Why not all the teams that didn't draft him before Milwaukee? Milwaukee gave Frank a shot. Obviously there's more to the situation I have no idea about.

Mind you, that was 28 years ago. Some childish **** right there.

Ummm, wasn't serious.... :dontknow:

Has this been suggested by anyone before: Was Thon doing a Kevin Garnett prescribed workout schedule? If so, with Kidd enforcing it, did this level/style of training burn Thon, a non-psychotic athlete, out?

If Thon was working out the way KG would have, he may well have been run into the ground.

A more scaled back training schedule/intensity level may allow Thon to have more energy/impact in game.

I'm trying extremely hard to be optimistic.

Well GOAT wasn't an option so they had to make do.

I would vote "Fools Gold" if there was this option. Thon is the Bucks fools gold.

I think people really over rated these KG visits. He probably meet thon 10 times total in two years. If anything, it's more likely he tried Gianni's workout schedule if you are going that route

How much weight do you think Thon has put on during the season so far. It looks to me at least 5-10lbs.

Ι'm glad the bucks are not the kings.
If maker was at sac city they would have cut him for nothing.
At least the bucks are trying. If he doesn't figure it out nobody can say that the organization didn't try.

I know Wilson and Maker are on cheap contracts but.......really should have just cut ties and traded for Dedmon....Or make them just ride the pine for a few years.

Charlie V was fool's gold, and was definitely better than Thon. Poor man's Charlie V?

When Henson returns and Thon’s completely out of the rotation, his “rock bottom” value will obviously continue to plummet. Think we’re really going to regret not pairing him with Wilson in a swap for a veteran contributor.

Just in case anyone could use some uplifting humor after improving to 0-3 vs decent teams under Prunty...

Unfortunately, I think we're out of time with Thon. He's backslid dramatically from his "oh, that was interesting" peak in the Toronto series, and has been one of the worst players in the NBA this season. For all his physical shortcomings (no upper body strength, can't jump in-game, weak hands, etc), it's his stunning lack of spatial awareness that will have him out of the league in 2 years.

I remember when people complained about CV being a weak rebounder. CV was arguably younger than Thon at the time and a way better rebounder.

Thon should get all backup 4 minutes while Giannis rests...

Giannis 38min
Thon 10min.

In that way maybe our backup's D will not fall off the cliff like now...

Brogdon, Brown,Jabari,Thon,Zeller

This playoff lineup could be the key to success in the playoffs ...

It has a scoring leader on Jabari,
A general on Prez,
A streaky explosive project SG on Brown
A average backup on Zeller,
An energetic lengthy disturbing quick 7fter who is capable to shot the 3ball and stretch the floor for Jabari. Thon and Zeller frontcourt fits with Jabari, they can cover him on D, they rebound well and all Jabari has to so is be the scoring leader we need him to be and he is totally capable to do that.

Now that Brogdon, Delly is out, Terry/Jennings are our only options at backup PG.

This, reduce Khris minutes at SF, Jabari fills.
Probably Khris will begin to shoot better cause he will not be gassed out all the time.

Henson and Zeller can split the C minutes. For as long Henson is injured, Zeller starts, Plumlee backup C.

This should be the plan heading for the playoffs. Not sure we have enough time to build chemistry in our backup squad but my idea sets the players to their natural positions and based on their talent and skills.

The adjustment was : They started Ibaka at C, Thon was fine against him, they
benched Valanciunas cause Thon was outscoring him and he could not guard him at the perimeter AND started Norman Powell who humiliated Khris

It's so hard to understand how Thon ran Valanciunas off the court less than a year ago.

He has done it to Whiteside and Gobert ... I believe opponents underestimate him, believe he is NOT an NBA player, should not share the floor court, ... and while Thon starts making 3s, shots, blocks, they get upset and miss their own, or get into foul trouble...

Don't get me wrong, he is currently not a Center.
He just has some nice stretches that irritates his opponents.
