Bucks are now 25 to 1 to win it all at Mirage. It was 50 to 1 two weeks ago. They are 6 to 1 to win the east. It was 15 to 1 two weeks ago.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

I think we win tonight guys and I still think that we haven’t seen the best of Giannis yet this season. His shots will start dropping from outside as well as the season progresses and our offense will be unstopable.
We need to get used to the fact that we are good and we have a chance in any game, wether it’s home or on the road.
We are basically the 60 win Atlanta team with a superstar.

It's early, even Bud said there is a learning curve for him as well, he's still learning his guys and deciding on adjustments that they can actually execute. So if this was the 2nd half of the season I would expect the Bucks to be favourites in all those games and respectable at the GS game.

But right now I wouldn't be surprised or worried with any result. After this 4 game trip we have an easy 10, mostly at home. Early Dec we'll still be at the top of the East.

Having said that, Win You Must.

I've been riding for Lillard to the Bucks for years and the retort was always something along the lines of "rather have McCollum".

Can't understand how much love McCollum gets here also. Seems like his statline is so hollow looking past the ppz's..

McCollum hasn't quite kicked on from a stellar 2016 season. Which isn't great considering he's being paid like an all star.

Weird matchup. Think the Lopez/Nurkic matchup is nice for us but Dame/CJ absolutely is not.

Nice! Get em a W. I really need to get to Portland one of these days.

I live in the Seattle area now. Presently at the train station awaiting my ride to Portland. I'll be representing the Bucks to the fullest in sect 103 row L. One section to the left of the Bucks bench. Look for the largest Wisconsin made beer belly. :)

I have had a cold since last Thursday and I rise each morning at 4 am for the opener at the Cidery. BUT if Real GM peeps are representing, I may have to make my way and grab a ticket. I really want to get down to that Bucks bench and bask in the 8-1 glory!

My train doesn't arrive until 5:50pm. Rushing over to the Hilton to check in and bust out of there to the game.

This isn't Mirage but close to what they are posting:

McCollum is what he is. He's not a star. But, he can be really good. He goes through patches of quite poor. He's like the guard version of Middleton but not as good as Middleton. I've been watching the Blazers quite regularly since moving here in 2015. I have several opinions on the Blazers:

(1) Dame is f'ng awesome. He's essentially Curry Lite. Can hit from anywhere.
(2) McCollum and Dame ultimately don't work long-term as a duo n the Western Conference and they should parlay one of the 2 for better wing depth
(3) McCollum had an absolutely atrocious end to last year and it carried over into the early part of this year until a game or two ago.
(3) I really really like Collins. He has more room to grow BUT he's gotten much much stronger with the same athleticism. This is the single player I would target on the Blazers and they most likely won't give him up.

I worry about Bledsoe 1st and foremost in these types of games. He can get caught up in hero mode trying to go toe to toe with elite guards and he becomes insanely mistake prone in those situations. In his defense, he can also get hot and run a team out of the gym but thats much more unlikely to happen than actually happen, especially on the road.

I dont wanna say he is disinterested but he either seems less hungry or the years losing constantly where it matter got under his skin.

I can see him playing better on a difference team as a change for him.

I dunno, the thing Portland got with him and Lilard doesn't quite work i see him or lilard leaving the team this year

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
