He had a good game, great. If he does it 3 more times, then I’ll give the “stud” status a little consideration. Far to go for that for me. Maybe I expect more from him on a more consistent basis.

When I think playoff stud I think the ring winning greats. Not Khris.

We very well might lose in 5 but I’m happy Khris, Donte, and Bledsoe has a bit of redemption. Khris has been good pretty much the whole time but a lot of National fans were disrespecting him. The other two deserved their criticism but happy for them to have a good performance here.

I'm definitely coming around on this point of view. I never really resisted it to be honest; just thought plenty of blame should be on the players as well.

You still need to hold the players accountable. Why is Khris more passive and Bledsoe less aggressive with Giannis in there? That’s mostly on them - they shouldn’t need to feel like they are in control all the time to be impactful players. That then turns to coaching and messaging - which seems to be all wrong. We have good players - but a not great coach.

It's a whole lot of everything to be honest. Plenty of blame to go around.

i mean if hed pIayed good he wouId have had 50. i dont know how can say a guy pIays good if there was that stretch he has where he didnt you know? pretty much pIaying good means being on absoIute fire for 45 minutes straight by any definition

He obviously played good but there's a wide range between scoring 36 on meh shooting and having a great game. Biggest difference is heat just missed some shots they made the first three games. Which pisses me off because a few things going our way and this series is easily 2-2 or 3-1 good guys. But the heat created their luck.

He made shots when we needed them in OT. Even though he didn't score in the 4Q, he ran the offense and got Hill and Lopez easy buckets. Those were winning plays and that's what we've been missing all series down the stretch.

Bud is a better coach without Giannis, just as Kerr was a better coach without KD. The presence of both of either megastar reinforces Kerr/Bud’s worst coaching habits. In Kerr’s case it was triangle concepts and mid post ISO’s for KD that bogged down the ball movement and made, for Bud, having Giannis makes it too easy to rely on drive and kick over and over again and ignore Middleton’s prowess in pick and rolls or ISO’d up top.

We just need Giannis be a facilitator & defender against this team.

Imagine how good the other guys could be if Giannis was willing to drag the Heat's two best defenders away from the ball on a regular basis instead of going for his regardless of how many guys are set and how far from the basket he is.

He was really good today when he played though. Saved them when they would have fallen WAY behind early. Just mix that in with what everyone else is capable of contributing and we'd all forget this bubble **** fast.

Miami is not very good. I continue to firmly believe that. Bucks have totally sabotaged themselves in this series.

That’s on Bud not Giannis

Yeah. Our spacing is awful. Giannis gets the ball. The double team is coming.

Hill/Marvin/Wes have their back on him slowly getting to their spot not in a hurry.
Lopez is 10 feet away from the 3p line for no reason and his defender is near the paint.
Bledsoe is ready for a brick and doesn't move and if he gets the ball hesitates or when he sees that his defender is not paying him any attention he also comes inside for no reason clogging the paint even farther for Giannis.
Middleton has a defender all over him far away from Giannis.
Giannis is getting swarmed and half the guys are not at their spot. Somehow with two guys on him nobody is open unless it's Bledsoe or someone else in the far corner. Evevybody is just standing there watching him either force the issue or turn the ball over.

Only Pat and Donte are smart/quick enough to make frequent fast cut and Giannis finds them for easy layups all of the time.

Other than that nobody is moving and it makes the job of the defenders much easier especially when the drill for the same play over and over again throughout a series.

Bud should have had atleast 5 different plays for Giannis to get the ball in the paint or make use of his gravity and instead we have only a couple that we don't even execute properly.

I think 3-1 there isn’t a ton of pressure on Miami...but you can’t feel great about losing to Milwaukee without the MVP. Force a game 6 and they will start to tighten up for sure.
