That is a lot for Holiday but if Giannis leaves I won’t be watching much NBA anyways. If Giannis stays because of this it was easily worth it.

Do we still have the 24th pick?

I have no interest in "if Giannis leaves talk". We all know the Bucks are screwed either way if that happens. Go for it, now.

You can’t say the Bucks aren’t going for it at least.

What is needed to get a Bogdon and Barnes trade done on our end? Barnes is negative value but would we need to give up Donte now with (I am assuming) no picks?

Nothing wrong with Bucks going all-in on this season, my only gripe is that this package should have been offered for CP3 because he can take over an offense in the half-court. Jrue isn't able to run a half-court offense like that, he's an off-guard

Those picks better have some crazy protections on them. Thank god for the Stepien rule.

I'm not feeling this trade much at all. Jrue is a good player but he's not putting us over the top. Bledsoe can kick rocks but I really loved having Hill in his role the last 2 years.
F*** Marc Davis, f*** Tim Donaghy and f*** David Stern as a staff, record label and as a mothaf**kin crew......and if you wanna be down with Stern then F*** YOU TOO!!! Stu Jackson f*** you too.....all you mothaf**kas F*** YOU TOO!!!!

It means if Giannis doesn't re-sign, then LED is selling the team to Seattle for $2 billion and paying off the $250mm of public stadium debt as required to break the lease, and walking away with a billion dollar profit.

ETA: I don't think they're that dumb. You have to feel they've got contract extensions lined up that will make people here happy.

Would be pretty epic if the 3 first were all future 1sts and we somehow kept this years pick

Holiday has a player option next summer. I'm ok with this if Giannis and Jrue both extend and we continue to be aggressive acquiring 2nd tier talent.

This really feels like a lot to give up, but at the same time, I said we could really use a third guy who's as good as Middleton, and that's basically what Jrue is.

If this trade was made without a handshake and a wink from Giannis regarding an extension........ Jesus

Does this mean we can start posting Jeru Da Damaja quotes?

I thought our owners were like, exceptional poker players, real sharks. 3 first rounders? Dafuq you co-sign that?

@wojespn: For the Bucks, they were able to acquire Jrue Holiday without costing themselves any of their key core players. Three firsts and two pick swaps isn’t an immense price to pay with @Giannis_An34’s decision looming on signing his extension.

Pre-Woj bomb hopefully

Can't believe how upset some of you are. Assuming some of these future picks will have protections. If Giannis leaves we are screwed anyway...At that point you trade Middleton for a top 10 pick in the stacked 2022 class and rebuild with two top tier prospects and tons of cap space. Championship or bust. I'm not crying over future 1st round picks in the 25-30 range.
