This one. Slow footed, below the rim, undersized small ball 4. Need to find him a hand-eye recognition drill for his feet. Maybe some hot yoga flexibility stuff to help him trim down and gain some quickness and lift

I don't know where they're getting the Jeff Green vibe from. Jeff Green is crazy skilled. He was the #5 guy in a loaded draft back in 2007.

From what I saw of Livingston last week, he's got some real issues with his hands/handle and being able to finish on certain plays/putbacks. He may be able to continue development and eventually get a spot in the ten man rotation, but we're a long way from that at the moment.

I don’t think he is that far away. Sure he can’t attack a closeout to the rim without an open lane but if he can take two dribbles in and pass. He puts a body on guys and definitely fights for rebounds. He can finish off both feet. He needs regular season minutes to improve and there are plenty of guys in the league that he can guard right now. Let him play solid minutes against lottery teams and rest guys like Pat.

Livingston's grown an inch and a half since the draft combine according to this article. He's been working on shooting consistency and defense in the offseason. How often do you hear guys mention defensive drills in the Offseason Grind genre? I'm optimistic we'll at least see some more flashes from him this year. Development of last year's picks is always overlooked when we gripe about our depth, which should be improved anyway.

I'm all in on Chris Livingston becoming a rotation player this season. I try not to overreact to Summer League but the way he did the little things there gives me a lot of hope for what he can be. Of our young guys he's the one I think I'm the highest on

That would mean he's almost 6'9 w/ shoes. I don't think I saw that in summer. They probably over-exaggerated some growth. 6'8 semi-undersized pf still, instead of 6'9 Julius Randle pretty standard issue pf.

Some growth is probably better than staying put because we now need another big, rebounding, & roll d more than POA defense acquiring Wright, even Trent, & having Green another year in. CL was previously able to guard Pritchard, Sexton, etc.

I'm on board w/ the rotation projections between the need, his attributes, attitude, & now experience.

Bucks athleticism looks a lot better if Livingston and Ajax can get into the rotation.

Idk if I buy MarJon being worth any developmental minutes at this point.

But those two + AJ Green all have serious opportunities here if they want to make a name for themselves.

Yeah, he did a lot of stuff that wasn't flashy but gets you and keeps you on the court

Guys like James Wiseman and Killian Hayes are younger than Marjon. He isn't really a young prospect anymore.

CL measured w/ almost a 7 foot wingspan and a 8-8.5 standing reach at the combine, so if this is true, and given his strength, he's not really even that undersized as a 4 at this point.

Even if he's not good (yet?), he's got value on our roster from being a different kind of player than the other options. Get out there and junk it up, push some guys around.

He played about 90 garbage time minutes last year. He definitely deserves some real PT and I think he'll get it. Maybe not immediately but with the inevitable injuries and rest he'll get a shot.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Livingston isn't quite ready yet, but when is he ever is, he'll fill a longstanding need. Defensive combo forward who rebounds.

I'd love to be wrong about him not being ready, as the boards excitement for Prince is about 15 regular season games from turning to utter disdain. It would be great if Livingston could steal Taurean's role.
