Us not showing even a fraction of the vet savvy that the Heat roll out of bed with

Too many Beasleys on this team, not enough Lowrys.

beasleys been great for weeks. use a different comp

Looked pretty ready for crunch time to me.

What a weird thing to say.

It was an honest question... :dontknow:

At this point you have potentially as many as 8 3-1 teams fighting for two spots in t he knockouts, one in each conference. Assume they'll do 2 wildcards in each conference next season with the wildcards fighting for the right to play the waiting 1 seed.

Some people want perfection. Your not going to get it. The D is bad but we still winning. I got a big chuckle when Martin blew by Beas who did not even move an inch. Lol It was a fun game to watch. Its that simple.

Not gonna lie, I would be more than a little salty if I were a Heat fan because they would be so **** good with Dame.

1) Giannis had one bad 3pt attempt, a couple of dumb fouls when he became too invested in the 1-on-1 with Bam, and he's seeking the highlight pass over just giving it to Dame or Khris but overall his most impressive performance of the season.
2) Khris and Dame getting looks off of Giannis screen actions seems totally sustainable in high leverage situations.
3) Marjon was garbage tonight - completely out of place, especially in comparison to Jaquez who was their best player besides Bam.
4) Dre is a gamer.
5) Our defense all game was trash but somehow we can do it for the last 5 minutes every game
6) We need somebody who has the energy and desire to play defense for the first 3 quarters

he needs a consistent run

Consistent run out of the NBA

Hard to expect him to come in late second half after sitting all that time and be expected to shoot high percentage. It seems like that’s how he’s been used during this short slump. That said, give me all the AJ stock. One for ten over a few games is such a small sample size for a shooter. I expect he’ll go 8 for his next ten.

Even for our board, in a little bit of disbelief we're still collectively hung up on Beasley somehow.

We've come so far. Proud of y'all <3

Bucks looked impressive in crunch time.

Andre, on the other hand....needs more playing time.

He's 23. I get it that he has a non-traditional path but he's been with the Bucks 15 months and we just haven't really seen a leap. I will say his 3P% has improved but just doesn't look sustainable in real game situations..

im going to stick to the numbers that at this point are becoming obvious. as his numbers on and off the court and his net rating spikes im going to escalate my displeasure to the peanut gallery about it as well.

and obviously hes been a total flamethrower on offense. im talking specifically about his defense in this stupid scheme fwiw

yeah.. i really dont know what to say if you think Beasley should play significant minutes on a team with title aspirations. i'm just going to silently hope that Horst understands where his priorities should be and leave it at that.

i dont know what to say if you want to pick on a player on the minimum with a 70% ts% who has a dynamically better net rating than giannis, dame, brook or any other starter on the team besides middleton.

like at what point do you back off and wait until he stops killing it before he returns as your scapegoat of choice?

he's hitting shots and playing terrible defense, looking out of sorts multiple times per game. it's pretty easy to see that this is a dead end. he is not a serious player and we are not a serious team if he's playing 20+ minutes for us in the playoffs. but sure, enjoy the three pointers for now.

this isn't like the Jrue/Bud Bucks where we could hide a Bryn Forbes. that's over now. we need a real player at the 2.

that's fair. i just think we are kidding ourselves if we dont expect some stinkers like this from him. unfortunately, we have to allow him to struggle like this if we have any hope of developing him.

He’s just so meh. I said he reminded me of Snell a couple months ago and I never been able to shake the comparison. They even move and shoot the same to me. He’s not our savior when it comes to the wing we need, and playing him more isn’t the answer. He has a role but not the one we really need at the moment.

2017 Tony Snell would be a godsend and the starting 2 for this team.

Are you talking about Marjon, or Caleb Martin on the Hornets right before they cut him?

My issues with Marjon are he's allergic to contact, and if things go wrong he gets visibly down on himself. He's athletic, has a nose for the ball, hustles, and his shot is improving. I really hope he sorts himself out, because he could be a pretty good role-player.

There's a difference? :)
Heat somehow got him as a borderline starter off the scrap heap and he really only did that for one season. You can get a Caleb martin guy pretty much every year (Ingles, crowder Matthews, etc) for the vet min. Just because he scorched us in the playoffs doesn't mean he is that good.

Don't get me wrong, Marjon could be a NBA player at somepoint but don't think his ceiling is worth the resources. Honestly would have felt better bringing Wes back since we are all in this season.

Wonder if there's something to the death stare Dame gave Middleton in demanding that ball before the foul/tech. Griffin said Dame had hit a couple of threes and was trying to go back to him because Giannis said, "Got to go to Khris."

Oy vey.
