He has to learn how to not use his hands on defense but the tools and measurables are there to be a top tier defensive guy 1-3

What he ends up being remains to be seen but we've rostered probably dozens of worse players than him in recent years. He's shown enough flashes that you have to keep him around for a few years and see what develops.

If you told me 5-months ago that we'd just dump Rollins and give his two-way spot to James Akingo, I would have probably been fine with it. But I definitely think Rollins has earned the partially guaranteed, multi-year AJ Green contract. I don't see what the downside is here.

Good lord, KOC is tweaking. What justifies how the Jazz are getting paid off in this scenario? Feels like all those picks should be going to Sacramento, and I'm not even a big Fox guy.

That's an awful deal for Sacramento and I'm not even really convinced that Fox is that great of a player.

Well, Sacramento wants proven players, and this trade gives them two guys who've proven to be aggressively mid so

Depends on the quality of those firsts. But yeah, I’d like to think you could get a little more for fox.

Sacramento wants proven players?

I think it's clear a lot of these guys (KOC, Marks, etc.) have somehow convinced themselves that the 2nd apron stuff is gonna result in teams throwing away 1st round picks just to dump meager salary, when instead it's been the complete opposite. Like, no tax team is giving you a 2031 unprotected first just to dump $8-9 million in salary when half the teams in the league can fit that into a TPE or MLE exception. I don't pretend to know all the ridiculous cap logistics of the new CBA, but it's literally these guys' **** job to know this stuff and they're all absolutely clueless.

NOPE.
Miles makes 27 this year and less the next two years. Or is about the player himself?

He sucks. If he or lamelo were any better that empty stat players, the hornets would be at least a playin team in the east. Plus hes a **** person.

I would strongly lean no on Miles Bridges, but there is no lean that Miles Bridges wouldn't drank.

The Miami Heat had interest in trading for Julius Randle this past offseason before he was traded by the New York Knicks to the Minnesota Timberwolves, sources tell Ian Begley. Randle has also remained on the radar of the Heat as the season has progressed. Randle can be an unrestricted free agent this offseason if he declines his player option.

Stands to reason Bobby is a similar player.

But also I think Minnesota definitely would swap Julius for Khris as part of a bigger trade.

Not really. Randle has been playing much better the last month or so and the only reason to trade him would be to shed salary so they can resign both Naz and NAW. Middleton has that PO which he will exercise and it would immediately kill any chance of resigning those two. If Randle is out it has to be a much smaller salary or an expiring. Bobby would be more realistic to MIN imo.

Does anyone know how the dates for prorated salaries work? Does it compare the date you signed the player to the end of the league year, or the end of the regular season?

Also, for converting 2-way players, are they considered players with 0 years of experience or 1?

Would Rollins base salary, before the prorated piece kicks in be 1.1M or 1.8M?

I’m trying to figure out how much would go against the cap if we converted Rollins on march 1st.

Bucks: Fox and Johnson
Nets: Portis and Conny
Kings: Midds and Beauchamp

Fill in salary and picks where needed

Thoughts?

A year ago I saw Rollins coming off the bench for the Herd. Now we're trying to sign him long-term.

Good for him, but he is nowhere near a regular playoff contributor. Nor is Ajax.

But if the Bucks trade KM and BP, then the depth of this team is pretty bad, forcing guys like Rollins to play.

Boston won the title last year with no bench, but it's hard.

Yeah, we just need to jettison Delon Wright.

I think it's way too much value for the Bucks and the Bucks defense would be very bad.
