Obviously Monk is more able to create his own shot reliably but he’s probably the worst defender of the four.

I’d try to pry Keegan first because he’s the youngest of the group. Since he’s due for an extension and the Kings have been linked to Kuz, maybe it’s possible.

Why in the world would the kings trade Murray ?

I’d really take any two Sac dudes they want to send in exchange for Kuz/AJJ. Whoever they send will have positives.
DD - can create his own shot and be the late game shot creator
Ellis - big time 3&D potential and get his bird rights
Monk - can create his own shot and plays fast
Keegan - three and D, better fit than Kuz
Carter - Bucks have had success with Carters recently, how could he be worse than AJJ?

They are a poorly run team.

DD is about to turn 36 older than Midds. Crafty scorer but we need solid D from the wings

Would still need a bit more like Kuz/Andre & Tyler Smith salary to make a workable deal for RJ Barrett or Andrew Wiggins

Much rather have Wiggins if that’s the package going out

Hate to give up Tyler Smith though

Would love Giddey. McCollum is a good idea too. I want nothing to do with Smart.

What would the Heat want in return for Wiggins? During a livestream on his YouTube channel, Lakers reporter Jovan Buha speculated on the kind of package he’s heard the Lakers may have to present to potentially land Wiggins. And spoiler, it’s a lot!

“I’ve reported/shared what I’ve heard, which is that they’ve been asking for like the first and Dalton [Knecht], which I think is an overpay for Wiggins. And I think they also want Rui [Hachimura] too, because they want to remain competitive and obviously Rui’s a better player than Gabe [Vincent] or Maxi [Kleber]. So I think that Miami’s asking price needs to drop, as I’ve said before.”

We're no longer in the aprons, so we can take back more salary than we send out. We can take back $28.75 million if we deal Kuzma.

Imagine if Horst actually had a brain, and dealt Dame at the deadline? The return, combined with Dame not ruining the team, would have made us an instant contender for years, without $113 million in dead money, we'd still have AJ Johnson, a pick swap, and no Kuzma.

These Kings trade scenarios are ridiculous. The Kings obviously have poor management but Keon Ellis or Keegan Murray are only getting attached to Monk in a trade if the Kings get serious assets back (2031 pick, Green, Etc)

If you're going to pat yourself on the back for that clip, then don't include the link that has the rest of your statement praising Kuzma. :(

Pacers proved having a bunch of those type of guys works.

they cut livingston so they didn't have to release Rollins' caphold
I don't believe that to be true since there are still cap holds for unused roster spots and those are typically higher than the deal a second rounder would be on.

Livingston's contract was roughly $900K more than the minimum cap hold.

Read on Twitter

As you can see here. The Bucks were only 300k away from not being able to offer the contract to Myles Turner.

They needed every cent.

If they had let Rollins caphold go and kept Livingston it would've always cleared about 900k off the cap table. But then you lose Rollins since you wouldn't be able to offer them the contract we did.

Also Wiscoking is wrong, the min cap hold is 1.2m and Rollins cap hold was 2.2m, not 'typically higher' at all.

Latest Kuminga talk is returning to the Warriors on a "compromise contract".

I'm still wondering whether Horst is acting like a silent assassin making a play for him.

But also could see Utah potentially opening up cap space to sign him forcing the hands of various front offices.

Either way --- if the Kings are out on Kuminga, that makes them the most realistic Kuzma destination I can think of.

Pacer fans have zero clue on player salaries. In the comments a bunch of them keep referring to the massive overpay the Bucks made for Turner.

Uh no, seven foot centers who can defend, run and hit three’s are extremely valuable

Funny how every fanbase (yes, us too) does the "he wasn't that good anyways" thing immediately once they're out the door. Zero sympathy for Indiana. Their two month title window was fun while it lasted.

Agreed.

Given the Kings recent moves they might be willing to make a consolidation trade. How about something like this?

Bucks in: Murray, Monk, Ellis
Kinds in: RJ Barrett
Raptors in: Kuzma / Green

I'm loathe to give up Green but Monk and Ellis replace his minutes and we get our starting 3 in Murray. This also preserves our picks to make a bigger trade next offseason or at the deadline.

KPJ / Rollins
GTJ / Monk / Ellis / Harris
Murray / Prince / AJAX
Giannis / Bobby / Smith
Turner / Sims

Thats a ton of guard depth to play with. Honestly feels a bit like the Pacers roster construction from this past year. Just really have to hope Rollins or Porter take a jump..
