JJ has been got paid way too much in Philly initially as a way to get the process to the cap min, then got lucky when they turned into a good team. Then he got paid too much to play for NOLA, maybe take a pay cut to get what you want.

Not really buying the Covid excuses with Toronto anymore. They've been pretty healthy post-ASB, yet are 1-11 since then and getting blown out by awful teams. Based on talent alone, a Lowry/Siakim/OG/FVV core and a "genius" head coach should net me something better than the 8th worst defense in the league.

The toll of covid and being away from home has gotten to them. Pretty much a throwaway year for them.

It's funny, because I'd be shocked if the media/fans weren't citing some internal disaster (is there? I haven't been following?)

Yeah he could be lying.

As Costanza said, it’s not a lie if you believe it. Am 100% sure JJ believes he’s been wronged.

Have children. Can 100% confirm this is a typical defense.

Might have been the Nate Duncan pod, but they were speculating that the best "realistic" addition TOR could make in the offseason would be a return of Derozan. They all laughed and agreed.

I would guess that our ownership group couldn't handle giving full power to Masai. But certainly seems like he'd be wise to cash-in and move on. He's done everything he can in TOR. It's only downhill from here.

Hope Bud gets canned and Stevens. Bring on Stevens and Masai. Man can dream right?

Thanasis Antetokounmpo is averaging 9-4-2-1 on 53% FG and 44% 3PT in 18 minutes a game since the Bucks threw him in the lineup after trading Torey Craig to Phoenix for being not a good player.

Torrey was awful for us.

It was a night & day difference when Thanasis came in the game providing energy.

140 off rating for Brooklyn without KD and Harden.

Health is a huge question for them but if they’re fully healthy I really don’t see how Brooklyn doesn’t take a dump on the East in the playoffs. No team even comes close in terms of firepower. I could even see them handling any of the West contenders in like 5.

Pretty much resigned myself to our window being closed this season the second Harden showed up 10 lbs lighter in his first game with Brooklyn. Only hope being that such a collection of Beta personalities just implodes on itself.

Yea. Instinct says that LAL could be their biggest threat, but that's no given with LBJ & AD being hobbled.

Weren't you the one arguing against acquiring Harden because he was fat? :D

Was and still am against acquiring him because he's a toxic culture guy/team cancer who would never wanna play in Milwaukee or with Giannis anyways, on top of us needing to trade Middleton for him. He'll forever be a loser player with a loser mentality.

I can see that. I just think this team purely from a basketball view would be better if we had Harden and George Hill instead of Middleton and Jrue.

What won't age well? That Harden would never want to play in Milwaukee or that he'll always be a loser with a loser mentality? Rings didn't change anything for a guy like Durant. He was a front-running, insecure narcissist before he was on a team that won a championship, and he still is.

This is admittedly a homer take, but if there's a team that can come close to matching up and slowing them down, it's the Bucks.

I would agree. Its just a matter of how close that really is.

Harden did some pretty incredible things in Houston despite never getting to the Finals. Idk how one can say he has a loser mentality.

Tillman Fertitta assured of this when he took back the true definition of a poo-poo platter just to prevent sending Harden to Morey/Philly (although then Philly would probably run roughshod over the league).
