Yeah, see this is my thing. Does he even play winning basketball? My gut says no. But then you look at his talent and you think how can that be?

So yes the "I want to be the man" is the quarter of the true reason behind all this. 3/4 is LeBron leaving

What benefit is there for Kyrie to lie to protect LeBron if he's so pissed at LeBron? If LeBron is leaving next summer, then why doesn't Kyrie just demand a trade next summer? Why was there a report that Kyrie wasn't happy last summer and nearly demanded a trade a year ago while LeBron signed a multi-year contract that offseason?

I'm telling you , I think this has everything to do with them using him in trade talks. If all he wanted was his own team he'd just wait out Lebron one year. Also wouldn't surprise me if he blames Lebron for trying to trade him.

This seems very plausable. Everybody knows management typically wouldn't do anything to risk Lebrons departure without his concent.... Maybe they were trying to get Chris Paul in a sign and trade to keep Lebron happy... Sound like something Kyrie could get upset about and say screw this Place and Lebron.

Just hypothetical and I probably still say no but would you do Giannis, delly,Henson for Kyrie and Love?

That's a pretty legit trade actually. Makes enough sense that it won't happen.

Agreed, actually I think the Suns get the best of the trade long term......Cavs get a decent return.....Knicks sell tickets and Kyrie/Porzingis work well together.

I wouldn't trade Giannis for anyone. You have a star who wants to stay in Milwaukee......don't trade him.

If we didn't learn anything from the Ray Allen deal..........

Kyrie consistently performing at an elite level in the postseason and in clutch situations, while still having to deal with people questioning how much he contributes to winning basketball, is one of the most confusing criticisms/narratives.

Like Porzingis, if you can get him without gutting your team, then you do it.

I agree with those who say this is more about Lebron leaving. Everyday, I'm more open to trading anybody not named Giannis.

It's confusing why you'd think a tiny sample overrides a much bigger one, and why you think you can cherry pick from said small sample. For example, he arguably lost them game 3 by chucking, so his clutchness goes both ways (it's really live and die by him, when you'd rather do it w/ the much better player in LeBron) and you're ignoring his defense is consistently bad even when the shots are going in.

Yeah because young players entering the league should definitely be able to carry a crap team. Let's add up the losses for Giannis over 4 years. Losses have been piling up for AD. KAT and KP too. Not a star in the bunch apparently.

"He lost alot untill Lebron came back" is just a horrible argument. Young players on bad teams are going to lose alot.

Once again. How can you say a man doesn't play winning basketball when he's actually won?
