11 players wanted Kidd gone and 4 still believed in him. I'd say that's well over majority vote and kudos for the team being able to see what the fans were seeing and being displeased. They said Mark Jackson was good at convincing the players it was an "us against the world" mentality so it was harder for the players to see what the real problem was with the team. When you're a "great guy" according to certain ppl, it's much easier to deny a problem or simply be naive about a situation when the finger needs pointed and the elephant in the room needs addressed.

Pressure is all on Prunty now. Does he get the team on track and winning again so everyone can talk about that and what a great job he's doing and Kidd must've been the problem... or do we struggle to climb over .500 with the same inconsistencies and look basically the exact same leading everyone to talk about Kidd could've gotten things turned around or there was no changes that needed made and Kidd got a raw deal after a fantastic 3+ years.

If Prunty gets things going then great, keep him around. If things barely change in either direction I'd consider going back on my word immediately and bring someone else in asap.
RIP Kobe Forever. GOAT 8-24. Long Live Giannis

It's way more than a day. I'm at 23.7 posts per day on average and that has been way less in the last few years. Go to the General OT Thread and make suggestions on what I should do for post 100,000.

I would’ve given a guy like Monty Williams a chance to come in on an interim basis, with clear expectations that this is a chance to show us what u can do on the fly and we will reevaluate in the offseason...could’ve kept Prunty in his assistant role until the offseason given that they both come from the pop tree

God I wish I would've made a Gardner head nod gif to use for posts like this.

No kidding. I f'ng wish you had that gif. His head bobs were some of the most annoying gyaddddd dyammmmm things I've seen since being a Bucks fan.

Just decided to head to YouTube and I have a surprise for you.

SkilesTheLimit wrote:Love this excerpt from Velasquez's piece in the JS today about Kidd's firing:

"With the team — led by Antetokounmpo, a two-time All-Star Game starter who has become a top player in the NBA — underperforming and possibly wasting a year of Antetokounmpo's excellence, a loud segment of the fanbase had turned on Kidd, with many adopting "#FireKidd" avatars on Twitter. There were audible boos at the Bradley Center over the past month when he was announced during pregame introductions."

You think Gardner would've referenced Twitter avatars in a newspaper article? This is important as it proves our message was heard loud and seen loudly and clearly by media and team management. Kudos to the #FireKidd initiative and all those who adopted the avatars!

Yup, saw this one, and there is another one floating around the internet saying something like, "are you #firekidd people happy now??"

It did get the attention we were looking for.

So I think it’s safe to say Brogdon is cool with Kidd being canned.

I wonder how much money Kidd scammed out of the org to pay KG for his little visits. Doubt he did that for free.

I wonder why you guys watch the stuff you do. Like this Area 21 sounds cringe worthy af in general. So why would you subject yourself to it on a subject that they know little about when you know their opinions are going to be ****?

I forgot to mention what I thought was the funniest thing

Giannis, in an effort to save his coach's job, offers to call his agent, the owners, his mom, whatever. The only person it didn't cross his mind to call was the actual responsible person

"What? The fat kid? Why the **** would I call that guy for??"

All I really want to know out of this mess is who made each decision on these personnel acquisitions (Kidd, Hammond, LED?)

Trading for Greivis
Signing Telly, Delly and Plumlee
Drafting Thon
Drafting DJ Wilson

And opting for MCW over the Lakers pick.

I think everyone is missing the obvious... Giannis called Kidd not because he likes him, but because he thinks it’s his fault. That’s the “devastated” part.

The Bucks reddit has a thing from Bill Michaels show about a fight at practice and a player getting thrown out of the building. It was obviously Giannis. Why else would Horst run immediately to the owners? Kidd’s ‘tell the truth’ line in the story is probably a shot at Giannis through the media because he knows Giannis thinks it’s his fault and Kidd is a piece of ****.

Also.... Kidd has been trying to trade Jabari for absolutely anything for over a year now. Absolutely hates him. The owners and GM don’t want to. Kidd is being a real **** about it, and that’s why he and Jabari don’t talk.

I was hoping Kidd would be gone by the time Jabari returns. Now about 2 weeks or so from him coming back I don't worry about Kidd playing Jabari 24 straight minutes on his debut.
