This Trade is amazing in the fact that we got the closer we need at end of close games. Our offense has been such as mess towards the end of close games. Dame is feerless and more than capable of hitting that big shot or finding the open big if the double comes. I will miss Jrue, he was a class act his entire tenure in Milwaukee.

The Dame welcome rally should start with Horst driving one of these slowly through the crowd with Dame in the back seat. Horst has his arm slung out the window, a cigar in his mouth, and he's eagerly appeasing all the requests by drunk frat bros to lay on the horn.

remember new CBA means you cant sign guys who get bought out of salaries more then 12.5m

Except if the guy is bought out BEFORE the season starts. Then the Bucks could sign them.

So if Lowry or CP3 or someone is sent to Portland for Jrue and is bought out before the season starts, that’s the path to one of those ring chasers.

That's an even bigger pipe dream than Dame to MKE. But hey, it'd be ****ing legendary.

No Bucks teammates have ever both scored 50 or more in the same game.

I remember Big Dogg and Vin both got 40 in the same game once, but I'm like 99.9% sure no Bucks teammates have ever scored 50. That's something to look out for this season.

Yep. Big Dog and Vin against the Bullets. Well Big Dog had 44 and Vin 36, so maybe the did top 40 together another time. Ray Allen out there as well in that game. But a trash team around them. Like Sherm Douglas at point, Johnny Newman and Chucky Brown in the rotation. Game is on the NBA app for classic Bucks games.

Giannis calls whoever ends up going to Portland and tells them to take a buy out before the season.

We just learned Rodgers told James Jones to intentionally drop balls during Giants training camp to get cut after the Jordy injury. So it’s not impossible.

I’m unreasonably optimistic that Crowder will have a resurgent season. In that case Dame/Pat/Khris/Crowder/Giannis will blow the doors off teams. If I get to be extra unreasonable, one or both of MarJon/Dre are ready to be real contributors and they could be part of that lineup as well.

Yeah but imagine this Dame/Pat/Khris/Crowder/Giannis lineup having to guard a franchise guard scorer like Mitchell, T.Young, Curry, Kyrie, Booker etc. Dame and Khris have no chance since the allstar will either be too strong/tall or too quick for them. Pat will try his 100% but he will be average at best. We need a defensive specialist of at least the level of Carter and Wes. Our perimeter defense will struggle even with one of those in the rotation. Imagine having none.

Bruce Brown and Gary Payton II. Come to think of it, that's pretty much exactly what you want AJJ to be....

To be fair... White is the perfect player for what they need from him. Less defense than Jrue but can actually be good on offense deep into the playoffs. If we could get a Derrick White to pair with Dame it would be 70 wins no problem

He talks about him like he's an all-NBA guy.

It's nuts.

Has any team in any sport done a welcome rally for a newly traded for or free agent signing?? I'm not mad but seems like rallys are more for winning something.

Let's be honest. This isn't a rally as much as an opportunity to lure a bunch of casual Bucks fans into an area full of ticket reps looking to lock them into season or partial season tickets (and make a few bucks in merch sales).
It's Milwaukee and winter is coming. Go outside and be merry.

Isaac Okoro, Josh Green, Aaron Nesmith, Cole Anthony, Reggie Bullock, Delon Wright.

I mean I know these are the non sexiest names possible but I was also trying to be somewhat realistic with the limited assets we now currently have. Josh Green is perfect and easily my favorite 1 on this list although he’s also easily the biggest pipe dream of the bunch as well. I don’t know how available he actually is, I know Cuban loves him. But, none of them are projected starters on their respected teams as of right now and could potentially be attainable. I think all 6 are nice fits next to Dame. Delon Wright would be my #2 behind Green…

Yeah you can't play on a championship level without a dog like that. We needed 3(Jrue,Wes,Carter) in Bud's era because of our drop defense and them having to go over screens like maniaks all the time. Maybe one will do if coach Griffin tweaks the defense enough.

The goal is not to have a top 3 defense like in the past but a defense just good enough with both Lillard and Middleton in the lineup. Either with Lopez or with Giannis in small ball lineups.

Offense will take care of the rest...
