If you want Giannis to play center, go get Zion. Reports earlier in the year said New Orleans is frustrated and his league value is down and he could be had for a 1st round pick. Make it work however you have to. Giannis and Zion would be fun. New Orleans would probably be interested in the 2031 1st and Brooks 23m expiring as a starter.

If Dallas was worried about Luka long term, I’m sure New Orleans feels the same way about Zion.

Something to keep an eye on is Durant. Washington (+325) would be the favorites followed by us (+375).

Wizards have a lot of young pieces that were lottery picks. Kuzma makes sense if we are looking to add someone with potential in addition.

Probably small chance but Washington could go after Durant and then other vets (ie Mids) as well. They may be at their reflection point for rebuilding. If that's the case, Im looking at their recent lotto picks.

kuzma and val are 4 years younger a piece than midds and lopez. neither have ever suffered a major injury. both on resonable deals.

lopez is a ticking timebomb and midds guts are already splattered on the street.

I'm finally at the point where I think you pretty much have to trade Khris for any reasonable 30+ minute playoff guy. It all just depends on what your goal is re: long term or short term. Keeping him and watching his body further disintegrate just isn't an option for me anymore. No way he turns down that $34 million player option at this stage.
