I’ve been watching “Cheers” reruns, and sure its dated. But decades later it makes me laugh out loud, and has some fairly insightful moments.

Monty Python

+ Fawlty Towers

The concept alone of the Arthur "Two Sheds" Jackson sketch makes me chuckle every time I think about it.

I just started it the other day! Im on ep 2 I think. Not sure if I like it or not yet but I really want to. Think theres a choice that needs to be made about what the tone is exactly, so we’ll see if that settles. But i love the premise and possibilities!

MASH and Taxi.

Also, Duckman is phenomenal from the mid 90s

I’m digging it. On like episode 6 or so. I’ll wait to give my full review but I highly recommend it.

RS, I feel like it’s the kind of show you might love.

Enjoyed Wayne a lot. Reminded me of a British show and I think that's why it worked so well (had the end of the **** world vibes). The two leads were both very good.

Was thinking about Mary Tyler Moore yesterday when this thread came up, then today Cloris Leachman passes. RIP.

MTM Show had the most emotionally resonant finale of any sitcom I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of them.

Thanks for the nudge on this. Was on my radar but doubt I watch it without this post. Blew through it in a week. Super well done, high level stuff but still accessible.

Watched the first 6, really enjoying it so far.

Yep. I’m hooked. I love how they bring back some of the minor characters from the films.

Yeah, I'm pretty much the exact opposite direction on WandaVision. Episode 4 was exactly what I was worried about going in. Absolutely hated the "real world" bits.

I finally got around to watching Tenet. My God what a horrible movie. Nolan is the master at taking really cool ideas and killing them with ridiculous dialog and exposition.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed it. It’s one of those shows that has a lot to say, and maybe not enough time to say it. Extremely ambitious and holds up on repeat viewings.

Nick Offerman and Zach Grenier KILL it too.
