The time to trade for Jimmy was when he wanted out of Minny and there was a rumoured deal for Midds (fwiw I’m glad we didn’t pull the trigger). He’s on the downward slide of his career now. Not worth it.

We haven’t been good with Dame on the court. We’re average with Dame and Giannis on the court together. We’re bad when Dame, Giannis, and Khris are on the court together. And we’re elite when it’s just Khris and Giannis, and no Dame. We have to figure that out. I think Dame is past his prime obviously but I don’t think he’s this ineffective. I think he’s nursing the calf injury and it seems like it’s going to come and go just like last year.

Idk what the solution is.

I, for one, am shocked that Butler headcases issues came up again to blow up another team.

Sure technically with how surprisingly well he's aged, getting ahold of him back from MN would've been the right move. But we have no idea how long it would've been before he blew up in MKE too. Who knows if they get that title that route. Of course, if he didn't blow up there's a chance you got more than one but I'm happy to take the one and not have risked it with his attitude.

I still think Stewart would be a really nice addition to grow with this team. Not a perfect player but he's got tools.

Bucks Out: Khris, Bobby, Pat
Bucks In: Jimmy Butler

Heat Out: Jimmy Butler
Heat In: Khris, Bobby

Third team takes Pat into cap space for whatever.

Trade works.

Bucks in McCollum, Kessler
Bucks out Lopez, Portis, Pat

Warriors in Portis
Warriors out Payton, Podz

Utah in Pat, Podz (TPE)
Utah out Kessler

Pels in Lopez, Payton
Pels out McCollum

With this both Dame and Giannis get their Robins. And I would have both CJ and Midds comings from the bench.

Dame (36)/CJ (12)
Trent (20)/CJ (20)/Green (8)
Jackson (20)/Midds (20)/Green (8)
Giannis (20)/Midds (12)/Prince (16)
Kessler (32)/Giannis (16)

It does, but I don't think we can have 2 malcontents like Dame and Jimmy on the same team. Jimmy would absolutely hate Dame too, a dude that uncaring about winning would drive Jimmy nuts.

There was a time Butler was appealing. Setting aside his effort trying to force a trade, the last half of last year and this year he seems to be showing his age. He has always had an in season availability issue. Doesn't stretch the floor, and if that defense is slipping I think he is a poor fit no matter how you get to a trade package. If it were Dame in that package that pg position is a real open sore, on a team with handling issues already.

Jimmy and Dame spent an entire summer scheming to play with each other and now Jimmy's forcing his way out after not getting his way but now Jimmy's going to hate him .

Lakers in: Dame, GTJ, THT, Torrey Craig
Lakers out: Austin Reaves, Riu Hachimura, Gabe Vincent, Jarred Vanderbilt, 2- 1sts

Clippers in: Portis
Clippers out: Tucker, 1st

Bulls in: Hachimura, Vincent, Connaughton, Tucker, Clippers 1st, Bucks 2nd
Bulls out: White, Ball, THT, Craig

Nets in: Ball, 2- Lakers 1sts
Nets out: Cam Johnson

Bucks in: Reaves, Coby White, Cam Johnson, Jarred Vanderbilt
Bucks out: Dame, Portis, Connaughton, GTJ, 2nd

Bucks erredicate Damian Lillard's uncaring attitude while getting a true PG, a quick combo guard, a flamethrower combo forward, and a big defensive specialist. White and Johnson have flat and shrinking contracts. Reaves is awesome when allowed to play PG. He can't guard PGs, but we have others for that, and he's actually active as a help defender, unlike Dame.

Lopez, Vanderbilt
Giannis, Johnson
Middleton, Johnson
Reaves, White, Wright
White, Green, Ajax

Death lineup: Giannis, Johnson, Middleton, Reaves, White

Jimmy hasn't played with Dame yet. Giannis wanted to play with Dame once to. Now every press conference is "We need to play harder". Who do you think he's talking about?

The levels of forced perspective you use to paint the world how you want is actually wild.

Or the blinders you where are wild. I guess it depends on who's perspective it is. One thing that is fact though is that the Bucks haven't been the Bucks since getting Dame.

We traded Jrue Holiday and canned Budenholzer after winning a championship because Giannis wanted change. We fired our coach Giannis wanted after a 30-13 start because Giannis wanted him gone. If Giannis didn't want to play with Dame he'd be gone tomorrow.

We returned the entire team after winning the Championship, we made 2 major changes 2 years later.

Yes, he might be gone before the deadline.

Some crazy dudes who cut of their ears turn out to be Van Gogh I suppose, we'll see where this one goes.

Saying we fired the coach and traded Jrue after winning the Championship, when it actually happened after 2 years of not winning the Championship is some wild forced perspective.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
