If Dallas was worried about Luka long term, I’m sure New Orleans feels the same way about Zion.

A guy who provides zero spacing and is competing with Luka for fattest player in the league, while also being injured 80% of his games, what could go wrong?

Giannis plays from the point with the ball in his hands way more often than not. Zion and Giannis would be the most athletic front court ever and Zion is just like Giannis with the ball in his hands that can get to the rim off 1 dribble and 2 steps from the perimeter. Spacing would certainly not be an issue. Conditioning and injury history is a different story but sometimes you gotta take a risk. The last thing I’d be worried about tho is the on court production of Giannis and Zion together. With Dame the gravity you could create would be insane.

No way in hell the bucks would give up giannis now especially seeing how the doncic fallout played out. Only way I think they consider is if they get lotto picks (cooper flagg sweepstakes) plus young players, PLUS GIANNIS HAS TO REQUEST OUT. and we all know he might be the most loyal player I have seen to a fault. I don't see him asking out quite yet.

1st pick guarentee then yes but dude a LOTTO PICK with the hope of getting the 1 pick absolutely not.Its rigged anyway not a chance bucks get 1st pick.

i doubt highly that enough value exists. but.... when the butler rumors started we thought we could be in. how far in front of butler is durant? hard to know how distressed his value is compared to when the suns went after him. i think at his age and recent resume his value has probably plummeted. you figure what the suns gave up is NOT anywhere close to what his next trade would be

Maybe something like:

Bucks: KD, Baldwin Jr (salary filler)
Suns: Kuzma, Lopez, Connaughton, Draft assets (Maybe Bud would value some former Bucks?)
Wizards: Middleton, draft assets

Just spit balling, i'm sure it's probably not even legal.

Not an ideal target but Zion would at least be fun, way better than some of these other names

A KD trade is not going to be made unless it involves Dame. There's no feasible move in either direction that doesn't. You're not giving up Giannis, and from our direction it would involve more than conceding Khris+.

Yeah and he loves to dump all our assets to get it done too so I could easily see him coughing up additional assets for Kuzma

Like seriously 5 2nd round picks for Jae Crowder gtfo out of here, get this man out of professional sports

you're only mad at horst in hindsight lol

this was your reaction to the trade right as it went down:

Depends on how badly Phoenix is looking to get out of the KD business. I think his name being brought up as interest around the league is nothing more than smoke screens and rumors when the dust settles. The Luka deal seems to have everyone on high alert this trade deadline.

It would have to be a gigantic deal where other teams got our win now players and sent picks to Phoenix. Thats all i can think of.

He played well the month after being traded then proceeded to epically suck ass in the playoffs. Mirotic also was decent in a few appearances before sucking ass and bailing on the league. Don’t play that gotcha no life **** with me dude.

If KD is available I guarantee Warriors would trade Kuminga and filler which is better than anything we could offer

Probably

But i wonder if Khris and Bobby can fetch draft capital that when combined with like AJ Johnson and 31 1st, is ranked higher?

Nobody wants Beal. Booker is the face of their franchise. He's the logical choice. If there were any way at all to bring him to MKE while only giving up Midds, I think we'd have a legit shot.

When Beal refuses the deals available, their chances die. Trading KD becomes logical then

Khris and Brook being Bud guys and the Suns being absolutely exhausted of draft picks (I bet the 2031 1st looks pretty good to them after they traded theirs) makes me think it's at least a possibility.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
