Not to single you out, but people who format lineups this way with the centers on top and PGs on the bottom, are most definitely sociopaths.

I liked Moose when he was with the Bucks previously, he's a very good teammate and upstanding person. Glad he is back and I think he will be a great addition to the team. It'd be excellent to win the championship with Monroe in the team.

Would we view him as an upgrade to Donte? Whether or not Suki is spooked by Nance's injury history would be a big question.

Bucks could save the Blazers a bunch of money helping them get off his deal for next season.

Not sure how interested Portland would be in Donte though -- especially if they are keeping McCollum.

I think you insert yourself into McCollum talks and try to walk away with Nance.

MKE: Nance, Snell
PDX: Hart, Hayes, Connaughton, Hood, MKE '24 1st (via NOP), DAL '22 2nd, IND '25 2nd (via MKE)
NOP: McCollum, Nwora
DAL: Satoransky (into TPE)

-Bucks add a versatile two-way big.
-Blazers shed another $20M+, adding picks and useful rotation pieces.
-Pels land their guy in McCollum, Nwora is a good Zion fit.
-Mavs add much needed depth using their TPE and a 2nd.

Holiday / Hill
Allen / DiVincenzo
Middleton / Matthews / Snell
Giannis / Nance
Portis / Monroe / (Lopez)

You had me at "insert yourself."

Yeah, I figured.

I think Nance is available for less, but I thought your idea of Nwora being good for Zion was interesting. Is this because Nwora could set an example for Zion on controlling his weight, since Nwora dropped about 75 pounds since HS?

That's a really smart angle, it would be worth a try for the Pelicans

Nah, that is 4D chess, Nwora is just a fantastic fit as a floor spreader. If he can be Zion's personal Weight Watcher, that's just (vegan) gravy.

Owners not cheap in my book, they must be feeling it in their back pocket.

Finals merch would be paying for it.

I doubt you'll ever get anywhere near Lakers gear...
But it's all speculation and gut feel anyway, those are private companies, they have no obligation to disclose financial information other than player salaries, and so they don't. Bottom line is, only the owners and their accountants know.

It's probably going terribly for them, billionaires are infamously bad with money.

Monroe gives you 90% of what cousins did. Only mistake was not signing him a couple weeks earlier.

Oh they're guaranteed to make their money when they sell. The question is what happens if there's a few years of losing some money before that. Some owners get impatient.

So, when do we trade Monroe for Bledsoe?

I'd have zero interest in Nance. He's a below average shooter, hence he'd be a bad fit next to Giannis.

The same goes for Moose, but I assume he's a short-term acquisition so it's no big deal.

If he's 90% of the player and 30% of the ****, it's probably a fair tradeoff.

Either player is just a minutes eater at this stage of their careers.

Monroe is a better defender. He moves pretty well at this weight. Too bad he still can't jump. He has quick hands though.

I still see angst about Boogie. In Denver:

1st 10 day contact:
1-7
1-5
4-10 Ejected
1-7

Second 10 day contact:
Injured
Injured
Injured
Available - DNP
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Nance shot 36% and 35% from 3 the 2 previous seasons. His numbers are down this year, just like every other Blazer. I'm thinking this is because Billups is not an NBA caliber coach.

Also Nance would get a lot of his minutes replacing Giannis. The appeal of Nance is the defense and rebounding.

You've been really going hard on the whole what Boogie does for someone else thing. Wes Matthews **** sucked for the Lakers, why do we care?

In Milwaukee:
17 games
Per 36 - 19.3ppg/12.3rpg/2.3apg/2.0spg/1.0bpg
On/Off - +7.7

Why is there angst for letting Boogie go (among more than just superfans)? Because he was a good player for us. Outside of the watch story all the reasons we supposedly let him go literally went out the **** window when we signed Greg Monroe to fill that spot . The spins that some are trying to pull off like we didn't just replace Boogie with maybe one of the only guys who could be considered as a terrible defender or unathletic or complains to the refs or whatever are hilarious. But word, maybe Greg Monroe will be kept past his 10 days or we find someone to take Semi Ojeleye for a guy who can play JV level basketball and it really wasn't a money thing.

Gonna go ahead and disagree. He looked so slow and weak. Even going back to his prime, I can’t remember a guy this side of Toni Kukoc that was 6’11 and played completely below the rim.

Saying I'm fine letting Boogie go doesn't mean I think Monroe is the answer. I don't. Boogie played well some of the time for us. I'd certainly like to know the whole story. It was 16 days after we let him go before someone signed him. We heard Denver was interested but they waited over 2 weeks. Seems odd to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
