Scary how similar Rivers and Knight's stats are.

Horford coming to terms on a buyout and he and Teague reuniting with Bud seems like the best case scenario I can think of. Gear up and see if we can get over the hump.

Austin Rivers, Jeff Teague, Brandon Knight.

If those are the guards we're choosing from then it doesn't really matter. I do think Teague would help the most, though. Knight would be the most entertaining. Rivers would be Jerryd Bayless (who also is probably available).

Imagine if all of the old Bucks came back for a shot at a ring

John Salmons, Del3no, and Caron Butler gonna unretire.

We could buy Larry Sanders some fake pee for a drug test. Jennings, Monta...Ruben Patterson. The possibilities are endless.

Would Horford start over Lopez here?

Not sure if we have enough minutes to entice him.

I just looked it up and Horford has two years and over 50M left. I don't see any kind of reasonable buy out this season. Damn.

I would have said the same but Blake Griffin somehow made it happen.

Aldridge gave back a ton of money to get out too.

If we actually had a way to get Horford I think he’d reduce Lopez to more of a situational player like Boban

It’s already been reported that Horford isn’t going to get bought out. They’re going to try and move him in the summer.

Didn’t know it was so explicit.

Doesn’t seem like a Horford buy out is in the cards.

Strange that he’d just not play any more games. But it’s also this weird covid season so maybe teams are gauging this stuff differently.

I was thinking OKC should be punished for sitting Horford but it seems like he wants to sit out.

Why the Bucks are interested in Rivers

Eric Nehm, Bucks beat writer: With a hole at backup point guard following their trade for Houston Rockets forward P.J. Tucker, the Bucks were going to be interested in competent guards that could fill the role and that is why Rivers makes sense in Milwaukee. Even though Rivers has moved away from being a point guard to more of a combo guard over the length of his career, that change does not matter quite as much in Milwaukee because of the team's non-traditional creators.

With two seasons with the Rockets before joining the Knicks this season, Rivers has playoff experience, reps switching defensively in important moments and a strong 6-foot-4 frame that can keep him on the floor come playoff time.
