Random, but Giannis over the past 3 years is a better 3 point shooter than AD on higher volume. It is just amazing how a reputations for some people (Giannis, Ben Simmons) are blasted on the TV and stated as a fatal flaw while others (AD, Butler) are ignored.

My lady friend was driving thru River Hills today and thinks she saw Giannis’ house for sale. Can anyone confirm?

Probably having fresh seafood in Piraeus at Imerovigli or coffee in Glyfada...........

....or something I might be doing if I were in Athens. My guess is since he's working out at SEF (stadium of peace and friendship) he's chilling in Athens.

There have been rumors over the last year that he's been looking in lake country as Bud has already made that move. There was one house in particular that the rumor was about as the guy who was building it went down for fraud I believe. Not sure how much truth there is to it though.

Remember Giannis used to come back every summer with something new to show off?

But last two offseasons have been all screwed up.

Finally after two years he's got that 6 month window to work on something new.

I'm kinda excited about seeing what improvements arrive in the fall.

That being said I noticed last year his passing definitely improved and there was at least in the RS had expanded his bag with some decent shots 10-15 feet from the hoop.

I’m praying that for every jumpshot he’s taking, he’s taking twice as many jump hooks/push shots. As the Celtics series went on he was getting so comfortable with them and it can open up his game so much more.

I’m 1000% out on the perimeter jumpers. Just don’t think it’s enough time left in his career to be a real threat from there and it’s a negative shot. I think he’s respectable pulling up in the paint and from the elbows but everywhere else is disaster.

It sounds crazy but I would make him watch Richaun Holmes film and tell him to erase the KD and Kobe stuff from his mind.

A pissed off and extra motivated Giannis (after losing to the Celtics) with a normal, full off season to rest and prepare. Just as he is entering the prime of his career. No longer has the pressure of not winning a championship, but is as hungry as ever to get another one.

Happy he is on our team....lol.

I agree about 99.9995% of what you're saying. He's been fed a bunch of junk about him "having to shoot threes." His work, as far as shooting goes, should be majority mid-range and in. He shot 43% from the 15-20ft region this past season which was quietly remarkable work for him, coming off of a title win. I don't mind him pulling up from the elbows or wings (the "forbidden" area from the stat geeks).

Those hook shots and push shots that he got comfortable with looked silky like butter. If he worked on those with both hands the NBA would have absolutely no answer for him on the block, the wings or the paint. His best perimeter shot that he looks comfortable with is that 16-20ft range (a la Duncan, Dirk, Durant etc.).

I have no doubt that with a proper off-season Gianni will come back looking even more polished in the margins. His jumper and free-throw looked considerably smoother from 2021 to 2022 and that was with a truncated off-season.

Quite honestly, there are now many moments where I think he is our best clutch player. His improvement in clutch-time situations in the last two years is astounding, as far as scoring, passing and generally how he performs in situational basketball. I noticed this during the 40pt special in Philly when he kept the ball to get fouled and go to the line. He NEVER would've done that in years past. Same thing later in the week in the Brooklyn game. Durant's 3 FT's took the lead, so Gianni just took it to Claxton, got the foul and sank two smooth FTs. Which made that one Brooklyn game after the ASB frustrating when Bud was dialing up plays for Khris and Jrue when Gianni was cooking in the 4th quarter. He was indeed correct about the "abundance mentality" he has after winning the title.

Please Horst/Bud do NOT bungle this man's prime years

Yes I love him working on that Duncan part of his game.

I'd love from him to be automatic from 10ft and in. And continue developing that 15ft+ shot. He likes it and he can pretty much get there all day.

He's getting better at making decisions and he's getting a bigger bag to work with. Love it.

That was all but confirmed weeks ago by Itoudis the NT coach. I think Thanasi and Kosta are playing as well.

They were still talking with the Bucks about resolving the issue of his injury insurance and up to last week they were reporting that issues were at 50% resolved with Giannis having a strong will to play.
