AJ Green being talked about as anything but a totally fine wide open three point shooter in garbage time is totally bizarre. He's not Buddy Hield. He's not a guy you want handling the ball.

Why on earth come playoff time do we need another Jeff teague level ball handler? Give me a 6-7 wing defender all day.

I mean I’m down for Bullock but can we cut Beasley then? Right now our ball handlers that are playoff eligible are Dame, Giannis, Khris, Andre Jackson, and AJ Green.

Remember that one time that the Bucks won a championship and their back up point guard played 7.4 minutes a game and averaged 2.0 points. The biggest unknown on this team currently is perimeter defense. Horst has also never gone into the playoffs with the same team he started the year with. You can never have enough wing defenders with length.

If the Bucks need to open a roster spot, AJ Green is the first guy getting waived.

Reggies Bullock is a good defender and has a career TS% of 57%, and he shoots a ton of corner 3's at 44%. His fit seems to be pretty good.

In 21-22 Bullock averaged 39.3 MPG in the playoffs on a team that went to the Western Conference Finals and he just so happens to fit what this team is looking for in a 5th starter. Him fitting that macro need far exceeds trying to find a backup PG who will probably play no more than 10-12 MPG in the playoffs.

What players would look good on D next to Kyrie, Luka, and Wood?

I don't have a problem with waiting until final rosters are out or the deadline or even until after the deadline and we see guys get bought out because maybe there is a better option. But Bullock seems to fit what this team is looking in a 5th starter and if he's interested in coming to the Bucks they don't have to give up anything or wait on anything to make it happen.

So you're saying get rid of Pat, he was pretty awful last year as a whole.

Ideally we’d cut someone and sign both Payne and Bullock.

Agreed, send Livingston packing and grab Payne and Bullock

Dame/Payne/AJJ
Pat/Beasley/Green
Khris/Marjon/Bullock
Giannis/Jae/Thanasis
Brook/Bobby/Robin

Still can’t believe we’re running 2 HOF top 75 players in the lineup

I think last year proved that you can have too many mediocre wings. Remember that Jrue was 31 that year and DJ Augustine and Jeff Teague played almost 20 mpg during the regular season. Lillard turns 34 next july (Lopez twins turn 36 in April). We can’t have Lillard playing 41 minutes a night during the regular season. Now Andre can play some back up point in most games and our trio of guards on two ways can space out their 50 games that they can play. Of course Giannis and Khris can run the offense some too. Bullocks shooting in the playoffs makes him better than Beasley so maybe you sign him and trade Beas in Dec. Has to be something better out there though

Well apparently they are going with Josh Green over keeping Bullock

The string he should have pulled was a sign and trade.

We eventually ended up with TyTy be cause of those negotiations, so that part is cool.

You still lose your starting center for nothing.

Get nothing in a sign and trade? For a player the Rockets desperately wanted?

Wanting Bullock to be the 5th starter sounds a lot like last year thinking Wes was going to get us another ring.

We need nothing less and nothing more than 3 and D from our SG. Bullock is perfect.
Just 3 is a disaster with Lillard and Middleton in the lineup and just D is the Bledsoe treatment all over again.
3 and D.
