Doc is fkn clueless. Yeah let’s just not include AJ Green on the team meeting because he isn’t a veteran

They would probably be an upgrade offensively.

I get that we're gonna be subjected to a lot of emotional trade proposals right now, but no, sorry. Lakers would give up anything and everything outside of Lebron/AD to acquire Dame because they're not idiots and know that trio makes them instant contenders for at least next season. Two replacement level starters benefitting from playing with AD and Lebron yet still can't lift their team to an above-average offense is a joke offer.

Dame for Reaves/DLO would be such a Bucks move.

Add it to the list of annoying f***ing things about this regular season. I think I said back in early November that "its obvious we're not going to play any defense this year so we're just going to have to flat out outscore teams." Which, yes, sounds silly. Of course we have to outscore teams to win. But usually its "the first to 100." This year's team has officially punted on defense. You simply cannot play that many weak defenders that many minutes and expect to string together enough stops to consistently win games in the low 100's. We're going to have to be the first team to 120. Unless, of course, changes are made to the rotation. Which I don't see happening as "top 9 veterans" won't exactly be telling Doc, "yo, I shouldn't be playing."

Thanks. Dental surgery to repair his broken tooth? Hopefully no broken jaw or anything substantial like that.

Unfortunately it does seem like Giannis and Dame are incompatible kind of like how Kobe and Nash couldn't mesh. They're both too ball dominant. But the Bucks would still get really good value for Dame given his numbers without Giannis.

Unless Dame really wants out, we'll run it back with the Giannis and Dame duo. Bud wouldn't have done much more with this team imo. It's a super thin, old roster and Khris and Brook are very situational now. The problem is definitely more on the GM side than coaching side at this point.

Since the title, Horst has done a really bad job save the Dame trade and also the trade to acquire Grayson Allen.

I'm not there yet. Rather I wonder if Dame mostly needs a kick in the ass to play harder and just better more consistently.

There've definitely been flashes of him and Giannis as an unstoppable tandem. And Dame's even shown he can D up when he wants to too.

Caveat if Dame just doesn't want to live in Milwaukee and the team knows it that's a different issue.

Dame sounded like he was saying that GA were starting to get a chemistry going and adding KM added another challenge and now they have to make it 3 man... we're running out of time though.... the bigger problem to me is all the role players going like 1-7 from 3 on wide open 3s when every team we play seems to have guys know those shots down in our face like Donte did in the 4th

I think the scenario Id be interested in is a draft day wink wink sign and trade for Nic Claxton. Free agency is a week after the draft, so the Bucks would have to take a player for the Nets and then send it the Nets way when Free Agency officially begins.

Brook + 24 draft pick player

For

Claxton (4 yrs 90 million extension)

I’m not sure if the Nets would be interested, but they also seem to be hesitant to pay Claxton so who knows.

I know it's a big part of his game and it stretches defenses, but I feel like Dame would be better if he wouldn't take ridiculous logo threes off of one foot so often.

And he has to stop foul hunting. Refs just aren't giving it to him like they used to. He has multiple terrible shots every game because he tries to draw fouls.

He's also had some sloppy passes for turnovers too which I wouldn't expect in a veteran team... we're so sloppy for being a veteran team. Sloppy play should be the least of our worries.

FWIW..... I remember basically everyone on this board preseason wanting AJJ, MB and AJG to take most of those Pat and Beas min and I still think we would be in a better position now had we done that. Rn playing 30+ Beas minutes and he misses feels like the cupboards are bare but they actually weren't

Putting all of our eggs into the Beas/Pat basket could be a fatal blow and now no backup plan... having Gallo sitting and not getting in shape for potential injury playoff big position
minutes is crazy too... always have a backup plan.. it's so reckless my brain can't compute it

Ron Swanson wrote:It's gonna be a Brook centerpiece trade if anything. They're not punting on the Dame/Giannis pairing after one season of chaotic coach upheaval unless he explicitly communicates that desire to the front office. Figure out what a team like Brooklyn wants to do this offseason, cuz they have two big wings (Cam Johnson and DFS) that would fit great here. Do the Rockets still value Brook as essentially a one season rental?

Brook for Landale + Jeff Green + a wing asset?

For a possible Middleton trade if things go really south in the playoffs. I thought about Atlanta unloading some of their contracts. Something like Middleton + Pat + Marjon for Bogdan + Hunter + AJ Griffin.

Wonder if they'd be potentially be interested in getting off that Cam Johnson deal for Brook with a potential sweetener.
