Vivid memories going as a kid. Open practice stood out on its own aside from the games.

Remember once the players did a competition who could hit a half court shot.

Ray drilled it, naturally.

I took my very small kids to a Bucks' open house event at the Cousins' Center in 2013-ish. It wasn't a practice, so this is sorta off-topic, but it was a lot of fun to be able to tour the whole facility, including the locker room--they had a haircutting chair (!) ... but no stalls for the showers (?!?!?!?!), just an open room with shower heads like a 1980s YMCA.

They also had a Rim Rockers show, and they gave out practice balls afterwards! I think they were getting rid of them for a design/logo change. Cool to have real NBA balls at home, but that was how I learned how slick the NBA balls are, compared to the Evolution. Hard for non-professionals to use, never had that ball picked for a pickup game lol.

Home opener prices are the softest in many years. Lowers as low as $50 all in. It doesn't matter that the Wizards aren't good, the opponent has never mattered for the opener. Knicks game the following week, also lowers under $100
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

That's nuts, this team is going to be a blast. We're no longer the slowest team in the league.

The casual fan doesn’t think that. They think Dame being gone is a big loss and then they are constantly inundated with this ESPN garbage about Giannis. Of course they have deflated any positive vibes about this Bucks team. It’s going to take a while to get those people excited again.

It makes sense, its the lowest expectations the Bucks have had since pre Bud. Fans will need to be shown this team is worth paying money to see
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Man I love that the bandwagon fans have jumped off. I haven’t been to many games in the last few years but I’m going to buy up some great tickets now

Once Giannis leaves the real sickos are left to play. I remember us cheering for each loss in 2013-2014 for a chance at #1  I truly don't know what some of these younger fans are going to do when this team is in rebuild mode. At least they don't have to endure a complacent Herb Kohl (RIP).

Looks like I'll be going to a few more games this year if those prices are true.

with giannis agent currently exploring which teams have the assets to trade for him midseason and the rest of the team having literally the least star power in the league i just dont get how you keep pumping this narrative?

i do think we could have a fun team with the right trade but its not like this isnt going to be the hardest season weve had in a decade. it can turn out ok but its far more likely to be absolutely brutal

Gannis agent isn't doing anything. Least star power with the biggest star in there game? The Pacers were in the Finals last year without a single star.

The Bucks are significantly better at PG and center. If they can add a playoff caliber wing, they'll be serious.

yeah i get your narrative. its the team/doc/giannis public discourse narrative to the fan base. i bought it too. but thats all changed now. discussion needs to focus on what our non-giannis pivot is because its beyond obvious thats whats really happening.

this is basically giannis giving us a chance to make this easy for him. if we dont take advantage then hes going to make it hard on us. thats the facts man

im down with seeing whats going on by christmas but if we winning 4 out of 7 which is tremendously likely then this story is all gonna grow to a roar. we havent seen anything yet. what we know for a fact is that shams reporting is dead on the truth. we all need to start with that fact as the basis for all discussion. his job is literally right now this minute to be putting pressure on our front office to move him. thats literally his job as dictated by giannis agents

No, Shams only reported conjecture, there was no fact, other than NY, like everyone else, made their yearly call. If you fall for Shams sham, that's on you.

Don't know where you came up with your 4 out of 7 prediction, we were dramatically better than that last year without Dame, and that was with Brook, and we were forced feeding Kuzma then. 4 out of 7 is only 46 wins, that's worse than last year. We're better.

You need to catch up.

Looks like the starters are going to be KPJ/GTJ/AJ/Giannis/Turner. Shame all this other nonsense is going down, because it was shaping up to be a really fun team otherwise.

Just get AJ's extension done already.

Giannis will be here until he's not (stupid answers for 600, Alex). Not worried about when he's gone, just going to enjoy the team we got while it is the closest to competing - and it won't be a competitor once Giannis is gone. The good news is that through the preseason, the team has looked pretty decent with zero Giannis minutes. So it seems a little bit overblown to already forecast tragedy on them, especially sans the best player who stirs the drink.

Everyone knows what assets are out there. Everybody on this board knows that. This nonsense that his agent is doing something that anyone with internet access is laughable. You could also listen to one of the 19,000 podcasts that beat this into the ground. Yet somehow i only ever hear about all the players that teams won’t give up for Giannis.

If you read this board too much, you'd be convinced Kuzma and Prince were starting. If you follow the teams words and actions, you'd know this lineup is the way forward.

The real question is if Kuzma has much of a role at all? Bobby should continue as the backup 4/5. Hopefully Kuzma is gone by the Washington game.

horst isnt picking up the phone. his agent is. if his agent puts together a deal with a destination giannis likes then thats when the volume will get turned up.

round one instructions to "talk to the knicks" has started the process. shams now works for giannis and his people. of that we should all have no doubt

until the next time its a holding pattern with shams exerting pressure.

but to me there is no question that giannis feels hes holding all the cards and is ready to rock out more than he wants to be here. we'll see. season is gonna be a clown show if i had to bet on it

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
