I see they tried to force feed him some minutes tonight and he shot 3-11 with a -17.

Olowokandi was pretty bad. I recall Pervis Ellison starting out terribly as well. And of course you have Kwame.

I think Cavs fans have to be on edge right now. Not looking good for them.

Not if they miss the playoffs which looks more likely than not and end up lucky yet again with the ping pong balls, landing say one of the top 3 picks in the upcoming loaded draft. Even the Cavs couldn't screw up a top 3 pick in a draft with so many high end talents.

Say what you want about Gortat. Interesting to say the least.

But, how is that not a foul on Duncan?!? Seriously. Given the new 'rules'. That's a hand-check through the entire move and a push. That's what reputation gets you in The League.

It's not a foul because it was an out of control move. Minimal contact.

Come on now. I know Gortat is a liability in the post and this clumsy display proves it...but if that's Duncan spinning (albeit with more purpose and coordination, yes) on the post you know that's a foul call. All the way. He hand checked him from the moment he caught the ball. To the moment he spun right. To the moment he nudges him to the baseline and to the ground. It's indisputable, imho. It's a foul.

Anyone know what this is about? Couldn't find another one of his tweets about JR but then again I'm not that used to twitter.

It's some nonsense about his boys B Brown and Pooh Jeter being in the league instead of being in China. Do I know the whole trail, no? But, it's just a friend going to bat for his friends. How JR got involved I have no idea...is he referring to his brother?

First #1 I've seen where my constant thought is "that guy could use a holiday" 7 games into his career. :D

It's not hand checking in the post. That's the rule.

Look, I don't want to beat a dead horse, I really don't. But, I want the rules to be understood as they are. And, I want the bias to be recognized.

The rule clearly states:

A defender may not place and keep his hand on an opponent unless he is in the area near the basket with his back to the basket. A defender may momentarily touch an opponent with his hand anywhere on the court as long as it does not affect the opponent’s movement (speed, quickness, balance, rhythm).

I bold these two items because Gortat clearly pivots and faces the basket. Duncan keeps his hand on Gortat. Duncan pushes Gortat out of bounds. The rule changes the moment he faces the basket. It's undeniable. Read the rules and follow the video evidence. Duncan isn't called because he's Duncan. Gortat doesn't get the call because he's Gortat. And, yes, he looks humorous in the gif. Nowhere near as hilarious as Bargnani.

Does this resonate with you?

Gortat slipped, look at his right foot. If they call that a foul with Duncan in the post, it's a bad call.

Pressure on in Washington already? Bye bye Randy soon?

They kicked our butts in the most classy way — playing the right way,” Nene said, fuming following the clinical destruction of the Wizards by the selfless Spurs. “It’s crazy, that’s what makes me mad. Our young guys think they’re so smart. But if I was young, I would watch video of that game for one week to see if I could learn something, because the way they play is how you’re supposed to play.

“They not talented as us,” Nene continued. “They have great players, a great team, but the way they execute things, the way they cut, the way they exploit weaknesses, swing the ball. They don’t think about stats. We still think about stats. Our young guys must take their heads out their butts and play the right way, because I’m getting tired of this.”

Speaking of the Wizards, John Wall looks like the same inconsistent, flawed player he's always been. Good thing they gave him that max contract a year before they had to.

I think Nene had him in mind when he said that.

I'd pass. I know some would go for it, but Sanders has a consistently elite skill, Wall reminds me way too much of Jennings with the way he plays.
