Are they moving away from having the 2 headlining shows in the 10 PM show?

I think the last time(s) I went, they had 2 headliners and a non-headlining EDM tent going in the final window. Some of the bands listed in the headlining row don't seem like headliners? But I'm a bit out of touch. There are other shows than Green Day at 10 PM on Sunday?
I went 10 times between 08 and 2019. Done a few single days the last few years but mostly I'm over it. Which sucks because for years it was the highlight of the year.

It just isn't what it once was. TMobile and Citi were sending me crazy offers and I was literally on vacation when it was going on so I checked out the lineup and just laughed.

Seriously look at the 2008 vs 2022 lineups and realize 1) there is an extra day to spread out the bands and 2) they sell ~50% more tix now after expanding the grounds. Just crazy.

Not their best performance - at least, not Matt's - but still a rocking set.

All these years later I still feel like I could listen to this on repeat for eternity.

Okay, I rely on you kids as one source of advising me of new music to check out and I feel like you all are to blame for me being so late to the piece to hear about Sault.

Completely forgot about these guys. Saw them open for Atmosphere at UW-Stout, probably in 2002? They were great, but yeah, never really took off outside MN. Brother Ali also opened and I found him corny as hell, but I still hear him played every once in a while.

Listening to Turn On The Bright Lights, it is such a killer album. PDA is a certified rocking bop.

Why is rock considered all but dead nationally? This list of songs made up entirely of pop and hip hop seems like the norm going back years. I'm finally listening to new rock music again and a lot of it is really good.

For those Bon Iver fans, Justin Vernon is hosting a one hour show through Milwaukee's 88Nine Radio Milwaukee the first Sunday every month starting this Sunday.

I managed to score a couple of tickets last week to see Bon Iver in Sydney next Feb, pretty much perfect seats in a wonderful venue too. :)

I know I'm supposed to like Bon Iver but the only thing of his I've ever tolerated is a cover he did of I Can't Make You Love Me/Nick of Time.

I think it's fair to say it's not everyone's cup of tea, even for those who may generally like that flavour profile.

Will say he's very cool, seems like a great guy. Always appreciated what he's done for the town. He had a unit in my little apartment building and I ran into him a few times.

Bon Iver (band) lost me after Bon Iver (album). Holocene is so beautiful it brings a tear to my eye; 22 Over Soon (and however the hell he styles it) makes my eyes roll so hard it gives me a headache. I even prefer when he doesn't perform with BRM at this point. The best version of Phoenix is on Colbert without Justin. Just let Robin and Anais sing, please.

To each their own. Funny, on the way to work this morning I listened to 22 Over Soon. I love that album and his sonic evolution.

Speaking of the National (and the ever divisive Bon Iver  ):

Me: Hey Matt, can you write something brilliantly hopeless that I can relate to?
Matt: Say no more.

When someone asks me what is the greatest song ever and I say "Big Tymers Intro" and they say "which one" and I say "All of them."

I like every Bon Iver album basically equally, and a lot. Think they're all best listened to as albums with the possible exception of the first one.
