Does this then work?

Thj, bullock, Duarte, theis, #10, #26, #29, ‘29 first, ‘28 swap for dame

I suppose this is one of those gross 4 for 1 deals.

Dame
Jrue
Green
Giannis
Brook

If it would take more firsts, then you could do the Jrue to Memphis addition.

It’s not 4 for 1 but 7 for 1. Not close for Portland.

Good point, I hadn’t considered that.

If it was our goal, and dame requested to be traded to the bucks, don’t you think there’d be a way to come up with an enticing enough package for dame where we send out Jrue, Khris, and Bobby in larger deals?

A Jrue trade to Memphis where you get salary matching and ‘24 gsw, ‘25 mem, ‘27 mem firsts coming back - from a Swanson proposal a little while ago.

Bobby to Indy or wherever for a late future first or two.

And Khris in that Dallas deal.

You’d be trading salary filler, a rookie lottery pick, and 5-6 future firsts plus a swap.

I'm rolling the dice on a size/skill/athletic talent like MPJ who's at least played in big playoff games and proven to be a resilient scorer. Especially when the lineup data is trending in the right direction the last few years. Yeah, there's definitely the lingering injury concerns there with the back, but that's pretty much the reason why a talent like him is available in the first place. Warts and all, he'd be damn near untouchable if he was a durable, 82-game guy like Mikal Bridges.

Cost of MPJ >>>>> Sexton.

Fox and Monk say hello. A lot of the guys in the league don't have big playoff games under their belt and if they do they are expensive. We are trying to buy on the low before they get too expensive.

And cost of Sexton >>> Jordan Clarkson. Would rather take the cheaper veteran guy who provides the same thing with a little more size and playoff experience. And I don't buy that MPJ's commanding significant trade value, that's the point. If neutral fans on the T&T board are saying a Middleton for Porter swap is pretty fair value, then I'm of the view there's a workable deal there if/when Denver falls short of the Finals again.

I'd for sure take the young player in Sexton over Clarkson. We're trying to build out the next group around Giannis. Sure, Sexton might ultimately fail to be good enough for 3rd best player on a title team but you might get lucky and he does have that in him. The idea is you're trying to buy low on someone who has more in him than has been shown so far. And the skillset he has shown is what we're lacking as of now. Regardless, he's here for a few more years and cost controlled. Clarkson is 31 already and we know what he is, plus he only has one year left on his deal.

Poole has been borderline unplayable this post season. I'm not even considering that unless they throw in Moody or at least Kuminga plus a 1st or two.

Poole? Easy no
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I don't want the front office to overlook the forest for the trees. Half court offense/shot creation still our biggest need, but I'm just out on guys like Sexton and Poole who don't have a passing/playmaking bone in their entire bodies. You need to bring in a better decision-maker, not a braindead shot-IQ guy who's gonna hijack the offense in crunch-time.

Not his fault. The locker room chose Draymond over him. He's been shut out of their game plan by their big 3. 23 years old, from Milwaukee, way better than Khris at the same age, locked up on a decent deal that doesn't hamstring us, would thrive here.

If Khris for MPJ is on the table, I would try to turn him into LaVine+Caruso.

The Giannis post is very un-Giannis like.

Poole is such a spaz offensively. He’d give us elite quickness and solid play making from a guard spot but not sure how you ever trust him? Maybe coming home helps with that?

Do you view Simons the same as Poole/sexton?

Poole can definitely play make a bit but his shot selection is, to be kind, aggressive. When he’s not jacking shots up though, he does make some nice passes

I like it. It’s time for Giannis to start politicking more like the rest of these whiners in the league. Bring in Nurse and a choreographer and let’s learn how to flop and complain about everything. Take fines, work the officials over every night while falling over after you are breathed on.

Just check out the Lakers whistle now after Lebron literally started balling on the court in that Celtics game. The lakers are going to shoot the most free throws in league history during these playoffs if they make it all the way.

If pooles value is dropping and they want to attach a guy like kuminga to move off him I’m down for that type of trade
