We might not get anything announced publicly until training camp. Griffin did mention him after his presser during a media scrum.

Basically translated to this: Stotts is the head coach. Im here because Giannis likes me. What kind of pizza do you want tonight?

Anybody worried that the Raptors were not very good offense last year?

Anyone who believes that it was ALL Bud's fault is fooling himself. Jrue Holiday at the postseason led the team on 3PAs 2.4/8.4 ... 28.6% while his FT% was 69% ... We really need to trade him.

I dont think anyone on this board e er said it was all buds fault in fact ot of posters said it was a collective effort from bud all tbe way down.Certainly im not blaming bud and definitely not putting all tbe blame on jrue either.Jrue played bad but so did most of the team MVP gisnnis goes 10-23 from line no one could hit a 3 and bud made some absolute brutal decisions.Hes the HC it starts n stops with him .
Jrue isnt going anywhere he will be the 2 guard next year like it or not

It was certainly the players fault too. But Bud have a lot, and I mean A LOT of freedom to our minds players on offense. I would’ve liked to see him run some sets to put players in better positions to score. It was absolutely a collective failure.

I know coaching staffs are not the be all and end all…but it does feel like we lost some Cache in that realm. Does everyone think we have done a good job in building a solid staff?

Exactly what blane is on bud the absolute garbage half court O for the last 4 years as you say failure to put his players in better position(thats been the main critisizm of MLF) he lack of D adjustments when a player or playerz light it up(williams horford and butler) that stupid play random sh.. and whats on the players (giannis going 10-23 from the ft line bucks shooting 25% from 3 in what seems like every PO game )seemed liked bud never had a plan B like ever if 3s werent falling

I'm certainly impressed with Stotts and Prunty being the first two assistants. If you have a first time coach, getting a coach that Dame loved that is kind of your offensive coach and a guy that has been through the ups and downs of coaching with Kidd and Skiles (pretty sure Prunty was part of that Skiles staff?), seems like great gets.

Worse case would have been he had to retain the entire staff from Bud (not because they are bad coaches, just the dynamics it could have caused) or he didn't want experienced head coaches so went with a super junior / first time staff that were in over their heads.

At the end of the day though, let's not fool ourselves, Giannis made this pick happen. AG might be well qualified for the role, but I think we probably folded our first choices to make sure Giannis was happy.

Man, Prunty's been all over, but did not coach under Skiles. He's been an assistant under:

Pop
Avery Johnson
Nate McMillan (2 non-consecutive stops)
Byron Scott
Kidd (2 consecutive stops)
Kokoskov

Fire this **** clown.

Hire someone who'll run a Marjon specific offense.
