I'm pretty much all caught up on new shows I wanted to watch. So I fired up House of Lies that I watched years ago. Forgot how much I liked this show.

Any new shows I'm missing out on? I started Untamed on Netflix and couldn't get in.

A listicle popped up on my Google news feed that was suggesting 10 adaptations of The Odyssey you should watch before Nolan's Odyssey. Content tailored to the massive group of people who cry out for 11 adaptations of The Odyssey.

I'm very much looking forward to Nolan's film, but I'd love an adaptation of "The Iliad" that isn't ass.

Tires 2 still sucks. I have wanted to love it twice, and it is still very unfunny, imo. I am heartbroken.

Absolute trash. They should have just put that loot into a sketch show.

Okay, the H. Foley appearance reeled me back in. Big Are You Garbage guy, that really got me good.

Absolutely loved it until the season finale, where I think they dropped the ball harder than any "good" show I've seen in recent memory lol. Will still watch the 2nd season when it inevitably comes out though.

It's a bit of a mess but it is an absolutely glorious kind of mess. Feels like Season 2 will be very different but we'll see.

I also thought they bungled the finale but I rewatched it this week and it was better than I remembered. I think just coming off of episode seven there was an inevitable letdown. Kind of like an early season Game of Thrones episode 9. Episode 10 was always coming back down to earth.

The major catastrophic event episode is one of the best episodes of TV (especially network tv) of the last few years.

ETa: could easily have been a movie in itself, and would've made it even better because we wouldn't have known who lived

Greenland is basically the movie version. Awesome flick.

I liked Greenland. And Green Book. Totally unrelated.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Saw that the early reviews for The Naked Gun reboot were 100%. Maybe the film is dramatically different in tone and humor than the trailer would indicated because the trailer itself is awful. I like Akiva so I'll probably give it a go and because I miss movies like this where they just line up bit after bit non stop.

I haven't seen it yet but the type of humor in Naked Gun isn't for everyone. I thought the original movies were great as was the short lived TV series but some of my friends didn't get the humor and thought they were dumb.

Rewatched The Naked Gun tonight and it was great. But rewatched Airplane after and it's on another level. One of the funniest movies ever, easily.
