I knew the story but learned a lot. I enjoyed it.

Same here. Lots of details I didn't know about. And that lady reporter-what a sleaze.

Fast and Furious (4) is such an underrated "Fast" installment (Hobbs v Shaw has no place here). The reintroduction of the original crew is perfect.

I've been watching the BBC show All Creatures Great and Small on PBS. Episode 6 of 7 aired last night. It's a remake of the series from the 70's and based on the books. I never saw the original series but from what I heard this one has several differences. Anyway, it's a rare show you can watch with your kids (of any age). It's pretty good I don't know if PBS will re-air it or if it might be available via streaming or on demand.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Might be my favorite Gyllenhaal performance.

Funny tho, Gyllenhaal did star in a movie about another California serial kill (Zodiac).

Thanks for the recommendation. I really liked it too. Kind of the idiot comedy version of Brick.

Spoiler:
And also way darker somehow. Goddamn that ending walloped me.

Rented it on Amazon based on the recommendation of Red Letter Media.

Watched the first 4 episodes of WandaVision and I think it's pretty good, kudos to them for doing something a little more formally challenging, and the way they've brought in different elements of the universe and explored big MCU events from the ground level has been smart. That said, I still don't care about these characters, and you could argue superhero **** works better when it's purely bang-bang escapism.

I like the ambition, and I like the execution, I'm just not really invested in the context, I guess.

I didn't know what to expect from this, but this actually looks kinda awesome. Giving me a Joker vibe but Disney'ed up.

I also watched the first episode of How to with John Wilson and was *delighted* by it.
