Rubio's a fine enough player, like, average starter level. Problem is that teams were always paying a premium for him (he's made over $100 million in his career already) thinking he could be their franchise floor general. I think we'd all love him as a backup to Jrue next year on a minimum or BAE type contract. But when you're paying him $15-17 mil per? There's a reason why teams have played hot potato with his contract the last 3-4 years.

I was just thinking the other day that he would be a fun buyout guy...Assuming he gets bought out.

I'm not a Rubio lover, but as Ron said he's a solid nba player. Yea with how weak our our backup G spot is he'd kind of be a dream buyout guy later in the year. He might be too good to get bought out though, but that's a good one to cross our fingers for. With his expiring Cle maybe could get paid to take on an overpaid guy or someone could generally value him enough to want him at the deadline to trade for him.

Who knows what they get back for Simmons. But Rubio could make sense in Philly too.
Resident Lillard truther since 2015.

Philly down 14 vs the Knicks. Would be great to see nets and sixers fall behind early before injuries to embiid and harden happen. Coasting to the 1 seed would be nice

Simmons isn't perfect but he kept them competitive when Embiid was missing his time. I'm not positive Embiid can carry this team to 50 wins.

Whose the scrape goat this year?

What's amazing is his legs weren't even grazed yet he still made it look like he was undercut in midair.

OKC has been leading GSW from the tip so far. 3:00 min to go in the 3rd. OKC looking like an actual NBA team, everyone not named Curry has been crap.

 Sounds like OKC fans lost most of the third quarter due to BSN "technical difficulties" as well

I've given OKC the kiss of death. GSW up by 5 at the end of the third.

So Portland doesn’t appear to be looking so hot out of the gate.

After the Portland Trail Blazers lost by 30 points to the LA Clippers on Monday night, Chauncey Billups was not happy with his team's effort level. Billups said, "It was embarrassing." Billups, clearly upset with his team, added, "We never competed like we wanted to win the basketball game, and that's disappointing."

Vogel is a **** dumbass with his rotations. Rondo and WB together is just horrific.

The AD injury looked like he was totally Peter Griffin-ing it. Can never know with him.

AD looks tired
Lakers should give him 3-6 months to rest and heal his booboo

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
