Looks great. But I wish they'd ditch the whole Fear The Deer crap.

Someone named John Weber from Waukesha registered Foxconnarena.com today. Maybe just a speculator. His address etc... is on the whois database if anyone thinks they might know him. I won't post it even though it's public. He obviously doesn't know you can make that private.

I would think if Foxconn were even considering naming rights then all possible names would have already been registered. Arena. Center. Or whatever it's going to be.

I'd think Foxconn becoming the jersey sponsor would be more likely. They are a worldwide company and they'd get more exposure being seen during every game vs having their name on a building in a state that only employs 1% of their workforce. Much cheaper too.

I don't see Foxconn getting the naming rights. What value is there for a manufacturing factory to advertise to the general public? Foxconn's customers are Apple, Microsoft, Sony, etc. The arena sponsor will be a company that can appeal to the individuals who are purchasing the tickets and watching the games on TV. An airline or energy company or telecommunications company, etc.

This is excellent, I like this strategy, it's similar to the strategy the Packers embraced. Be all about the sport. Get the best facilities in the business and for the people who really love their sport and want to dedicated themselves, those players embrace it and appreciate it. What do players who love GB talk about? They talk about how it's all business up there, it's all football, no other distractions, year around top rate facilities.

Milwaukee is never going to compete with South Beach or LA or NYC, neither does GB. GB is all about dedication to becoming the best. Milwaukee needs to embrace that same strategy, and it looks like they are.

The gym, the weight room, the kitchen, the barbershop, the staff, the lounge, you never have to leave. You have everything you need to become the best athlete possible, and for those truly dedicated to their craft this place will be a great calling for them.

Of course winning culture has to be a part of it, but with Giannis this team is always going to be in the playoff hunt, and a this is an impressive tour to give potential free agents when they visit.

Also...

The commitment may even include a naming rights deal for all or part of the Milwaukee Bucks’ new arena, Gou said. “I would say this: We (are) working with them, but it’s not final yet,” Gou said. “Do we want the whole building or just one section? I don’t know.”

I thought of that, but since there's already one (and only one) 'fieldhouse' in the NBA already, I feel like we'd be copying IND.

Foxconn Center definitely sounds the best if they were to get rights.

I see a great marketing opportunity for Foxconn to replace the basketball nets with suicide nets.

Fort Foxconn
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”
