Other than beating Dallas and us (without Giannis), there wasn't a whole lot of impressive wins in the games Olidipo played in. Not sure if Indy is better with him or without him right now. Hopefully he gets the recovery he needs.

He definitely wasn't great but he was slowly getting better, but I don't know how much of that is negated by taking 4.5 months off right as your starting to get your sea legs back underneath you.

From a game-to-game perspective yeah I think they might be better without him because it'll be the team they'd had for most of the season. But where it really hurt is limiting their ceiling, they'll be a tough out but whichever of the 4 teams they get in the 1st round should be able to beat them.

I just want our opponents and our team to remain healthy. If that happens I won't have any problem feeling like it would be a legit (and as Giannis said, an extraordinarily tough) ship. Worst case scenario is a healthy loss. But not far behind that is a cakewalk because the road is paved with Covid casualties.

Remember also that Brogdon tested positive a bit ago. The backcourt is thin.

According to twitter, he hasn't been following NBA guidelines. There are recent pictures of him going out and interacting with people without a mask on. And yet he's going to be able to get paid for all the games he misses.

The handling of this virus in this country has been so incredibly frustrating.

Yes, if only everyone would follow the NBA guideline of playing unmasked contact sports with 30 other individuals in the literal epicenter of the pandemic, we'd all be okay.

Yes, but without the sarcasm. The NBA's guidebook was 113 pages and very thorough. If the bubble plan doesn't work, I'm betting it will be because people did not following the protocols.

Not necessarily “people.” Could be a single person who only read 112 of the 113 pages in the guidebook.

Yeah, the plan has to be literally foolproof to work without a lot of luck.

Just cancel the season already and get ready for next.

Would be shocked if this season finishes in a satisfying way. Or finished at all, I guess.

There uh, isn’t going to be any next season unless the league and players figure out if they can even make a bubble environment work.
