Yeah, that number feels more appropriate for the assumption that the Nets will be intact during the playoffs. That team isn't a some crowned champion. Their S-tier offense is still paired with a question marks on the other side. But once you get past declaring them modest favorites, the Nets roster is dependent on older players with extensive injury histories and combustible personalities. I wouldn't feel comfortable laying money down on that coming through. Yeah great. However the Bucks were averaging 120 points per game all year, and yet in that series it went down to 101.9.
So whatever question marks there are about the Nets defense, I don't know how I don't know why, but they somehow answered them when it mattered. And pretty convincingly too.
